Do you watch a lot of Youtube?
Well then I would want your help.
I am in need of channels that are fun to watch or just listen to.
It doesnt matter whether it has millions of sub or just a few.

I ask you, What do you enjoy watching?
Share your link and maybe a short word as why.

Thank you for helping me finding that "one more video" on youtube.
small GA

Now 5 of my favorite channels.

Isaac Arthur

I love space and find his topics that he explores are really interesting to listen to.
No ads littered as well is a big plus for me when I am bed at night listening.

Puffin Forest

I don't play D&D but I love the way he presents his stories about D&D. Always funny 10 minute videos.

Gas Station Encounters

I have no idea how I found this years ago but I am glad I did.
Catch thieves in action and put them on the internet. Great out of the box thinking on how to take a thief and make it into something profitable for yourself.

Chris Stuckmann

I like my movies and mostly feel that my thoughts and feeling align with Chris and also Jeremy Jahns. However I had to pick one so I picked Chris

Because Science

Well scripted and presented science to questions you surely have had at a certain moment whether being an adult or kid.
Because of him, I don't want to have several superpowers anymore.... cuz... you know... Science.

Matthias Wandel -- Woodworking is what drew me in, but he does lots of small videos on other odd stuff like setting up mazes to see how smart the mice in his shed are. Quirky chap but interesting.

Frank Howarth -- Again woodworking brought me there, his camera work and stop motion stuff kept me there.

Nerd City -- Wanted to post something other than woodworking stuff. This guy doesnt have a lot of videos but he talks about people and things on youtube/social media, crazy production for a channel so 'small' considering.

Used to have a huge interest in woodworking, however lack of space and tools made me not pursue it

I have a few; we don't have cable, so YouTube is most of what I watch:
Accursed Farms - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJ6KZTTnkE-s2XFJJmoTAkw - I love Ross's sense of humor, and Game Dungeon has a lot of off-the-wall games. I'm mostly knowledgeable about console games, so this is a good source of education for obscure PC titles.
A Dose of Buckly - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9kMnSZQd53hE-1sb1f9sdA - Channel's mostly dead at this point, but there are years and years of cynical humor here.
Clockwork Pixel - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDFCh1hNBRTnrYgKZRU0ZqA - Creepy pixel art films
Grickle](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCqz4lWE_7FjyIzkO_9KM6KA) - Short cartoons that are really strange, but after a while, it just sucks you in.
Project Genesis - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC65Y_RryD4QmYrXoaV-iZWA - Video game covers in Punk/Hardcore style, and if you ask me, not a bad looking guy.
Self-Made Island - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWItRt_PUBN-Bhkb0AdmdWQ - Rom hack playthroughs, mostly Super Mario World. I spend a lot of time at RHDN, but you can only get so much from the 4 screenshots that the games have there.
Stop Skeletons from Fighting - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5Xeb9-FhZXgvw340n7PsCQ - Video game reviews and miscellanea, formerly the Happy Video Game Nerd. I love their style and their sense of humor, and they have a lot of unusual topics.
Todd in the Shadows - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCaTSjmqzOO-P8HmtVW3t7sA - I have almost no exposure to popular music these days, but I love his sense of humor. I mean, really, who doesn't love TitS?
Unsolicited Project - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdwFnSqn35OljNlJSRSDXoQ - The Gay Women's Channel. I don't watch their Pillow Talk segments that often, but their short films are great, and I love their sense of humor. The short films are enjoyable to most anyone, though learning lesbian culture from Pillow Talk is baptism by fire, because there are a lot of in-jokes.
Vince Collins - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXZhsdrSZhbWYoXhRlTDH1g - Ever wanted to know what LSD is like without taking any? Plenty of animations here to help you with that. One of my favorite movies is Yellow Submarine, though, so take that as you will.

Who needs cable when you've got the internet!

I totally agree! These days, I feel that cable is a rip-off; we canceled ours years ago, when it became almost $100 a month, because my lady watched a few shows a week, and I watched nothing. Even when Netflix doubled its prices to have both streaming and DVD services, it was only 1/5 of that, you don't have to watch anything at any specific time, there are no commercials, no censorship, and the DVDs get sent directly to your mailbox, so you barely even have to put on pants. Unless you watch sports, I don't really see a downside.

AcousticTrench - Amazing acoustic guitar and a gud pupper.
Jolly Wangcore - Streamer and gamer. Specialty: HL2 mods, especially terrible ones.
Ahoy - Video essays on gaming, games and game mechanics.
CJU Games - Let's Player, mainly indie horror games. Very calm and intelligent. One of my favourites.
Gamemaker's Toolkit - Video essays on game design and why.
Louie Zong - music and video experiments.
Maangchi - Korean cooking.
Philosophy Tube - Video essays.
Pop Culture Detective - Video essays.
SootHouse - bunch of brits laugh at stuff, is actually great fun.

Pasc Storrer for your ASMR needs.
How can you NOT like Dorkly?

Most of the R/ channels for the hilarious to disturbing stories. I swear, those stories are like meth. Highly addictive.

Well... I maybe only have one (other than MxR) that might be interesting, it has some really great short films. I actually don't have a ton of subscriptions for whatever reason, guess I mostly just watch what pops up in my feed

Omeleto - short films

Ashens English youtuber that has been doing videos since 2006. He is mostly known for reviewing cheap knock-offs of well known products and electronics, but he also reviews food and tech in general. He even has an amazing movie out and another one in the works.
Techmoan Another english youtuber! I reaaaaaally enjoy his videos on old tech ans obscure media formats. Videos are really well made and thoroughly researched.
TheReportOfTheWeek I love reviewbrah. He does amazingly deep and well constructed fast food reviews and helps me sleep with his VORW show :-)
Vargskelethor Joel Absolute meme man. He always makes me laugh.
theneedledrop The best teeth in the game delivering the best music reviews on youtube.
Others also include LGR, Linus Tech Tips, LEMMiNO, and Digital Foundry.

(also, thanks for the giveaway!) :-)

I watch a lot of video essay about filmmaking. My favorite's probably Lessons From the Screenplay. FilmRadar and Criswell are also really good
Recent favorite has definitely been Jablinksy Gaaaaaaames
If you feel like being depressed but also laughing your ass off I highly recommend exurb1a and Casually Explained (though their older videos are still their best)
I'm not a fan of everything he does but Jimmy Tatro's Balcony Conversations series is the funniest sketch comedy I've seen on youtube (you might know him from the Netflix show American Vandal)
And for more informative and insightful content, I always go to vlogbrothers

Call Me Kevin - Hilarious gaming content. He pretty much screws up everything while playing games, deliberately. He's been growing like crazy in the past year so I'd be kind of surprised if you haven't seen his name/videos around at some point.
John Wolfe - Plays horror games, and pretty much the only Youtuber who does horror games gameplay without exaggerating every of his reactions like some... other Youtubers I won't mention.
Steve Hofstetter - Stand up comedian. Mostly known for his heckler shutdown clips.
SovietWomble - He makes compilation of stupid shit he and his clan does in multiplayer games. His editing is top-notch and makes everything funnier.
Door Monster - Under-rated skits makers. While their general visual quality isn't competing with more famous channels like College Humor and such, they make up with absolutely flawless comedy and jokes/punchline delivery.
Tom Scott - Also seen on Computerphile (which I also recommend, mostly for Tom's content), if you like computer stuff, his way of explaining things is quite entertaining and easy to understand.
Extra Credit - They make history interesting.
Zebra Corner - Do you hate TV ads? Then you need to watch some of Zebra Corner's take on some of the stupidest TV ads.
Michael Reeves - Stupid inventions and useless homemade machines etc.
Captain Disillusion - Long-time Youtuber, he debunks fake videos and explains how they were done.

These are most of my subscribed channels - I don't really tend to subscribe unless I really enjoy the Youtuber's content all the time.

I actually just follow two channels.

Wintergatan - Wintergatan is actually a swedish band. For about a year or so it's all about the design and assembly of a marble run music machine. There's an update to the progress once a week (every wendsday). Older uploads contain really cool songs like Sommarfågel.
AntsCanada - It's basically a channel about ant keeping. I don't own ants myself but there's quite some knowledge provided and I enjoy having that kind of videos running in the background.

Beside that I got The8BitDrummer running every now and then. It's about a drummer who streams himself drumming and the ones watching him decide the songs. He seems to love what he does and laughs a lot so he's really fun to watch. Songs tend to be game or anime related. Sadly I never manage to watch him live on Twitch due to the timezone difference.

FamilyJules is the only channel I follow on YouTube (I barely use YouTube overall). It's a guy who adapts game songs in heavy metal fashion. He's also responsible for the metal soundtrack to the Crypt of the Necrodancer.
