Again.
The Rangers should have won it, i just hoped so. Although, the Kings seemed to be the better one of the two. Why? Maybe it's because of the great players: Gaborik, Kopitar, Quick etc. Maybe it was just luck? Who knows. I'm just devastated of it happening because I'm going to lose my money now. :D.
What do you think? Which one should have won and why? If neither, then which team?

With love,
San Jose Sharks fan all the way from Finland

This should have been San Jose's year - they had the speed, size, and talent. Losing Vlasic really cost us. We definitely could improve our power play, and Niemi didn't steal us any games. I didn't like Doug Wilson's response about no coaching changes, the power play system sucks in San Jose - stand around and let people get in the lanes... Hope they make some changes next year, it's rough having season tickets and coming up short in the playoffs year after year.

I think the Western Conference is better than the Eastern right now - we have more speed and better defense. I wasn't surprised that the Kings had a much easier time knocking off the Eastern team (5 games instead of the 7 they went too against all 3 western teams). I like the Eastern teams, they are fun to watch, but I think the West is playing better hockey right now.

Karma's a bitch. I used to like the Sharks, but when they started playing like asshats like Vancouver, I lost interest.

Keep toxic players off your team, and maybe you'll win the cup someday.

I really don't care now. I'm a Blackhawks fan, but seeing that they won the Stanley Cup twice in four years, that's satisfying enough. I care little for the Rangers, and I don't care much for the Kings either. That's why I didn't root for either team.

That was one hell of a game. Both Ranger and King fans must have been at the edge of their seats.

Congrats to the Kings.

Yeah, no. My team, the Buffalo Sabres, were definitely favorites for the cup. Can't believe average teams like the Rangers and the Kings made it, but we didn't. This was our year.

This year was disappointing for me. Of all the great club starts (Sharks, Ducks, Blues, Blackhawks, etc) , none of them could finish it off! And the team I follow, the Phoenix Coyotes, finally found a buyer and could not make it to the playoffs this year.

Only 108ish days left til next season!

Do you live near Phoenix? I've heard the tickets there are cheap as heck. Up here in Canada even a cruddy ticket will be costing you a couple hundred dollars. ... I've never been to a NHL game in Canada yet :( I've seen a couple games in Buffalo though. Drive across the border and bam! cheap tickets!

Thought the Blues would take it all year, then towards the end of the season we lost most of our key players to injuries right before Game 1, and then This happened. D;
Ryan Miller didn't play all that fantastically, sadly.
Hopefully next year we'll have better luck, especially with Allen in the net! :D

I was cheering for New York (even though Pearson lives in my city...) but I predicted LA would win. LA has an all around kickass team that can work wonders. NY on the other hand will fall apart if their star players don't deliver.

LA won, they deserved it, played great. Good for Pearson I guess! STANLEY CUP TO HOMETOWN :D
