For me game cost 59.90€. But my point stays. If they were "racist", you wouldn't be able buy game at all. Game was already released at 50% sale, jjst wait year or two and it will be dirt cheap at steam sales.

It's pretty common to have subs for cheaper regions. The reason behind that isn't racism, it's to avoid regional price abuse. This way people from 1st world can't buy the game for 2nd or 3rd world prices. Remember what happened after people changed regions to Argentina or Turkey? Prices were increased. You should be glad that this is done.

to be fair, the usual action is region locking the sub for the cheaper regions. Region locking the 1st world country keys from being activated elsewhere is extraordinaly rare.

in my fucking country as per steamDB i have to fucking pay $10 more than USA, $49 for gold edition in my fucking country for gold edition + 13% taxes and in USA is $39.99, aside from this shit publisher, EA, square enix, sega, capcom and activision are selling a lot higher in my shit country than USA for unknown reasons, there is NO regional price in this country, the average salary is $700, I hate to pay so much when a key is cheaper and I dont have to pay for taxes, pretty much I have to pay double than USA just because the stupid ass publishers are selling higher for whatever reason in my country, my country doesnt have regional pricing AT ALL. only GOG

I cant find a key seller for my country Costa Rica, all keys are first world countries only, already check all sellers in gg.deals, pretty much am forced to pay double in my country, sure I can wait for a higher discount later on, but I really doubt the gold edition will ever go below 50%, even with discounts, is still $10 higher than USA, which is extremely unfair

Yeah, the regional pricing for this game is weird for Costa Rica. Which region do you use for gg.deals? US? Or Brazil? Keyshops like CDKeys or Instantgaming use regional prices, contrary to marketplaces like Kinguin, G2A etc. I see an offer by CDKeys for Brazil. Maybe you should look at local retailers to get a cheaper "physical" copy or wait for sale/bundle. It was just released on Steam.

It's mostly just based on economics. Regions with weaker currency or lower or GDP get lower prices, so more people can afford the games.
There are some minor other reasons, e.g. different publishers in different countries/regions or censorship.
Developers/publishers can configure the packages in a way they like and then generate keys for these packages.

I don't understand this kind of stuff too much, but I really feel you, friend.
I'm not saying this for this particular matter, but we South Americans are left out of everything in many aspects. For real.
And I highly doubt that, as some people say, it's due to piracy or illegal sales or whatever. First of all, because as a person who spends all her time on the Internet I know for a fact that many people from the first world are the ones who pirate things the most. Mainly because they say that paying for games is giving money to big companies.
Secondly, I also know for a fact that South Americans, even with our weak and complicated economies, are people who do not hesitate to pay for what we enjoy. I think we are really good customers.
Of course this also happens in other poor regions.
Even here at Steamgift, I once heard it said that admitting that you are South American does you no favors in front of the members of the community.

I just wanted to point out that it's not necessarily always the case either since you sorta implied it to be a widespread issue. But in my personal experience it's more of a case that ANY characteristic, opinion, or barely existing sometimes, is often enough excuse for someone here to be bothered by someone's else presence. It's just a case of people being people, aka flawed and prone to conflict. People here tend to be friendly but they can also act like complete dicks sometimes, me included if I'm being honest.

I've only been here for 5 months. The person who told me about this website is a Spanish man with whom I had very little contact. He kept repeating how opportunistic Latina women are. He said that the only thing they seek is to seduce European men to have the opportunity to leave their country of origin and live off the money from the man's work.
He said this on many occasions. In addition, he kept mentioning how bad his experiences with Argentinians had been, among other offensive things about us.
That's why I know there are people like that here.
However, I agree with you that usually these attitudes are isolated and circumstantial cases. The gaming community, in my opinion and to my surprise, is the least toxic I have known so far. :)
