Do you like metal music?
I keep forgetting that I listen to metal - I think I'm so used to it that I just think of it as rock or hard rock. It's like, what, don't guitars normally sound so distorted?

This Christmas I received 2 CDs from my parents: Painkiller and Firepower by Judas Priest.
When I saw them, it was like: WTF?
You know, both me and my parents are not kids any more and it was a real surprise to receive that kind of music from them.
I can't imagine how my father could even figure out and choose those albums, he absolutely nailed it!

I actually did when I was like 14-15 (never was a full-fledged fan, but at least didn't consider it to be horribly boring back then). I guess, now I'm just too old to give it a chance yet again
