I think most adventure game will do the job. Actually, they're hidden objects game with items combinations feature, they also have story which are better most casual hidden objects game. And you already have many of them: Monkey Island, Machinarium, To the Moon (good story and soundtrack), Deponia, etc.

L.A. Noire. Quite an interesting mix between Looking for clues ('rather' similar to Point&Click Adventures) and a bit of Action. On sale at amazon atm for 10$.

My wife and I play Trine(1 currently) co-op. She also plays Spectraball and Sonic: Generations. All of these she plays on our TV with my old laptop using an XBox 360 Controller. She generally likes puzzle games on the PC (like MS' Tinker), and from Steam she plays Snapshot, Toki Tori, and Spirits.

I've put more games on her account than she'll ever play, though.

All that I can think off is that the girl of my dreams plays BioShock, Half-Life, Portal, Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead, Fallout, Assassin's Creed, Deus Ex and Metro. I'm sure that there is one anywhere in this world. One pale with short brown hair, same age or similar as I and more cute than attractive, the kind that my heart has always beating fast thinking about it. That's all I know about what kind of games a gf would play, I guess the one she likes?

Then she might like L.A Noire, the game has lots of hidden clues and all which you'll have to go through to complete the missions. She must give it a try. :)

Especially since its about solving who murders women, shows very detailed the dead women, and how sexist everyone is on that game towards women. Yeap pretty good game for a wife... :

Similar issue with my wife. I put Faerie Solitaire and she loved it. Plus it's one of those games that doesn't actually need the Steam client to run, just to install.
