Should jigsaw giveaway creators be hanged?

Only the ones who use more than 400 pieces!

Yeah! To be honest they are freakin time consuming. I've toned down on completing jigsaw puzzles.
I hate the ones that has loads of pieces (takes longer than 30 minutes) just for a single giveaway.
I try to make mine at least enjoyable if I do them (with a train of giveaways as a reward).

There should be a -1 / neutral option!!

Anyway, I just avoid these puzzles.

Depends if we are talking about erotic asphyxiation or not ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

depends on the number of the pieces and the quality of the image chosen; if it's a 400-piece, half black puzzle, then yes. that's just sadistic.

In my humble opinion, jigsaw giveaways have made puzzles on Steamgifts much less enjoyable than they were before, and also generally more time-consuming. Before they became popular, I enjoyed the occasional jigsaw, even if it took me hours to complete - it was a welcome novelty among so many "ITH" puzzles. Now, they are everywhere and there is absolutely nothing special about them.

Contrary to ITH questionnaires or other tests, they do not involve any thinking nor do they teach you anything. Solving a jigsaw is a repetitive, often exhausting, task. But of course, it's far easier for the creator than, say, thinking about some clever questions.

That depends of the jigsaw, if it's a nice picture with a reasonable amount of pieces then it's enjoyable. Smart-asses who put a complete black or white picture with 400 pieces are ruining the fun.

I sometimes do the jigsaws without caring about the giveaway. They're fun.

I enjoy the tiny jigsaws that take you like a minute to finish :'D...
