They give me prices in Euro while I'm not even in Europe. :(

I know what you mean, I like to keep all my games in one place too, so I always try to get them on steam if available. but if you want the steam's overlay in origin games, you can always add origin games as Non-steam games and have the steam's overlay! :D

There are two 7970's on the benchmark. The upper is slightly overclocked. Still, they're very close.

At least it's easier to run than when crysis 1 first came out. Crysis 4 is most likely going to be released 1 year from now, probably going to need a GTX 780.

Bigger news is the 8 core AMD FX-8350 beats all the Intel Quad Cores including the Intel Core i7. I guess AMD is going to be better than Intel for console ports. Seems I got it right that AMD's 8 cores would be fully utilized but its sooner than 2020. I guess once developers learn how to make multi core games properly it can scale to multiple cores easily

Yes you can, look above you at what he is writing now.

Intel beats AMD at every price range except for AMD FX-4100 vs Intel Core i3-3220, AMD ties Intel; However the FX-4100 vs i3-3220 price range is irrelavent because its better to buy an Intel Pentium or Intel quad. Also Intel's Haswell processors are comming in Q2 2013 and are based on new architecture, not a die strink like ivy bridge was.
For AMD's FX 8 core cpu vs Intel's core i5 or core i7 4 core cpu, AMD's 8 core, high end FX processors are rubbish, the low end FX-4100 is okay for the price. First, most of the new games only fully utilize 3 cores, except GTA IV and Borderlands 2, to a lesser extent. Second, the FX processors are not energy efficient. Third, Intel's core i5 and core i7 are better in games, the FX bottlenecks in Metro 2033 and Skyrim.

However in the future, about the year 2020, games will fully utilize 8 core and FX may be better. Also Playstation 4 and Xbox 720 are rumored to have 8 core AMD cpus so console port games may become better optimized for AMD.
For graphics AMD or Nvidia doesn't matter. However if you get an AMD cpu you should get an AMD gpu.

This lol....what is up with peoples logic on this subject?
Comment has been collapsed.
Its not logic its common sense to bad some people don't have any. Everyone knows if electronics of the same brand are paired together they produce better resuts because they were from te same company. Watching a broadcast filmed with a Sony camera does produce better result on a Sony HDTV

I really really hope you're trolling, if not oh god how dumb can you actually be....insanity.

Okay. To be clear: no, Crysis 3 is not badly optimized. In fact, it is very well optimized. It has a lot of specific video settings, all cores are utilized equally and the performance of the game scales properly with overclocking. It's a heavy game because it's truly next generation.

I lol'd because you haven't played the game, it seems. It's [visually...] the most advanced game on the market.

I lol'd because I don't even know what you mean. FOV can be de/increased with console commands and guns can be reduced in size too.

I dont get people , this game is horrible . I played the closed beta and the open beta and the game is just BAD!
compared to the shooters out there today its really not that good.

I consider that not working personally. If its not playable it doesn't work.
Thats like saying a car works because the engine turns on but the gas peddle does nothing.
