Thanks for the feedback on the previous post, additional information has just been added to user profiles.

  1. You'll be able to see private and group giveaways created by a user, although links to private giveaways will be disabled.
  2. If you're viewing giveaways won by an individual, you'll be able to see the creator.
  3. Deleted giveaways are displayed with the prefix Deleted, in front of the title.
  4. Usernames in the winners summary have been color coded green and red, to show whether they're received or not received, without the need to open the giveaway.
  5. Private giveaways which are either open or coming soon are still displayed, but the title, points, and game image are hidden to keep the game private for puzzles. For example, view my profile and refer to the top giveaway. The details will remain hidden until the giveaway ends. Feel free to join though, click here.

Funny I suggested this a month or so ago and the support users said this will never happen. Good to see this feature added.

I really like this. :D It's going to be so much easier to check for fake giveaways (and prove that my own aren't).

Amazing, this should clear up those fakers. But we still need more moderators, so you guys can ban them faster, so they won't enter high contributor giveaways.

And as I said, there are very long standing users that need to be banned for infringing the rules repeatedly.

I request that ongoing private giveaways not be shown in profiles at all. I am planning on making a tiered puzzle giveaway and I do not want people to know how many giveaways I have in the puzzle. I am sure this is also the case with a lot of other puzzle makers.

Yeah especially some folks who make weird threads to hide giveaways in them, now it's going to be less of a mystery if given person actually has made some giveaway, less paranoia about some unusual threads. But also if you want to hide additional giveaway after the main giveaway for the more observant, and other situations.

So I think yes, I'd prefer myself for those private giveaways not to show up until finished. That they do show up now, is a great addition however.

The logic behind group giveaways is sorta screwed up atm. It shows the url, and the name in it. Even if you remove the name, it'll still show in signatures D:

I'd rather not have any links for it.

Sweet. :D

However I have a little bit of criticism about it:
1) The whole showing ongoing giveaways still hurts puzzles even if they are censored since the number of giveaways and finding hidden ones can be part of the puzzle... it's also quite unnecessary.
2) I see it doesn't show all the winners of multi-copy giveaway like it did before but just shows one of them. This was very useful to finding all the people participating in fake giveaways before so it would be nice if it's implemented again.

All in all thank you for making this. :)
Oh, and we still need the mods back. ^_^

Yup. I'm going to refrain from making my tiered puzzle until this is fixed.

I'm loving this update. Now contribution abusers can't hide behind private giveaways and will be caught eventually.
