I seriously don't get that point of that slogan and I don't get why people hate CoD WHEN THIS IS THE SLOGAN FOR BF4 PREMIUM it seriously makes me want to not buy the game or anything that connected to the game.

I miss EA's "Challenge Everything" slogan. They weren't so bad back then.

Yawn...more hate on EA. Nothing new. If you don't like them then don't buy their games, simple as that. Also don't forget to vote them as worst company again instead of the many other companies that are ruining people's lives and the world.

Yawn... more flippant deflection of the subject at hand. Nothing new. If you don't like discussion don't read forums, simple as that. Also don't forget to add more canned taunts instead of acting with a grain of dignity.

After having been cloak and daggered into agreeing to the origin-era EA EULA, I shrugged and finally started looking into what games they have on offer. After all, they already have my apparent green-light because of the EULA business. BF4 seems pretty cool, though I haven't played BF3 for a frame of reference yet. The price is enough to turn me away from it completely, though. I was genuinely surprised to see £30 expansion packs for Sims 3, when Sims 4 is creeping closer to release (with day 1 DLC/expansions, no less).

Really, it's expected now. When a company attaches a huge pricetag for a shruggable product, and people pay for it, of course the company is going to continue that practice. When people pay for it, whether grudgingly or happily, you're waving a big flag that says "We are okay with this practice, we will continue to purchase from you". And so they keep doing it. The only way to change things in a hard business model like EA's, is to speak with your wallet. If a sizeable portion of their player-base refused to pay for their games above a certain price level, they would be forced to lower the price, adjust their policies, or add new incentives. As it stands, people pay, so they have no reason to change.

As for the slogan? Yeah it's dumb, but so are most taglines.
"Own more - be more : Revelations; be a hero, because you're worth it (maybe she's born with it?)".
