Recently put ~2 hours into Cthulu. I rather enjoyed the humor. The battles at times can get pretty frustrating, esp when monsters' power increases 10%/turn. Gotta kill 'em quick. I'd definitely recommend it.

It looks so awesome, but that it doesn't run without windows media player is a damn bummer.
Yes I bought it and will never play it for that reason -.-

It uses Windows Media Player? That's odd, do a lot of games do that?

No... it's like the only one I ever heard of. Some very old games may use quicktime I think, but they still work without it, you just don't get to see the videos. CthuluStW doesn't run at all :(
