I've seen a lot of people make giveaways at the last minute, probably right after receiving that email. Someone even wrote in the description that the winner had to activate it's winning within 12 hours of the giveaway ending. (As if people will automatically be in front of their PC the moment they win a game.)

I know, but instead of being "Hey, me and my friends are looking to play %s game together, but one of us doesn't have it. May someone lend us a hand and share a copy for him?", which would still be begging but without taking any profit of it but to play along with a friend, this looks more like "Hey, I fu'ed up with the expiration date of Insurgency's HB key and now I can't deliver it on a giveaway. may anybody save my arse?". In other words, it looks like he needs the key for himself not to be banned instead of needing it for a friend.
