[H] Games [W] Recommendations (active LGBTQIA+ GAs again, and the recs remains!)

Only recommendations I can think of are simulation-type games. Sims 3/4 and Stardew Valley both let the player go into gay relationships.

Not LGTBQ+, but Freedom Force is one of the funniest games I've ever played and I don't think it gets talked about enough. If you are ok with strategy/eagle-eye view games, that's a recommend too.

I suggest Seven days with the Ghost. I mean, damn, Amishiro Anna.. I really have no words, she's the epitomy of the one who is able to make everyone lesbian for her with one snap of her fingers.
...well, maybe except for a one dense protagonist :)

Milky Way Prince – The Vampire Star (already mentioned, but deserves to be mentioned once more;
also, there's a new game by the same devs, but I haven't played it yet — Mediterranea Inferno)
and Butterfly soup on itch.io which I played thanks to a similar thread with recommendations :D

I haven't played many games with LGBTQ+ tag TwT So I guess this discussion is useful to me too!
One I can currently remember is Tacoma, will post more when I remember and/or play more ^_^

Just finished playing Eternights and it is pretty good. It is a hack & slash / dating sim from a guy who really likes Persona. There are 4 romance options, one of which is male, though he doesn't show up until the later half of the game. The writing can be a bit crude but funny at times, and the combat itself is simple with a slightly unforgiving skill check. The game expects you to learn how to dodge/parry and doesn't give you a lot of wiggle room for mistakes. Wiping is not punishing though, since it tends to put you in the room just before the combat zone.

The only other game within this category that I've played recently is one that I will not mention in polite company.

The giveaways are done, but I was reminded that maybe I should probably keep this alive so people can find it whenever they are pride-peckish.

Also how do we feel about casual rep? Roadwarden has a lot of representation through secondary characters and not a big deal is ever made of it, as in, its very natural. It is also very chill :)

Also some new recommendations:
Thirsty Suitors: it's like Scott Pilgrim Bollywood on crack and you're the one battling your evil exes. The gameplay and art will put some glitter on your cheeks. Lots of fun. Highly recommended.
The Expanse: A Telltale Series: it was an Epic exclusive for 5 mn but no more. Even if you didn't watch the show, you'll enjoy this scifi space opera game. The characters are awesome and the DLC is also well worth the price. And it comes with cool and inclusive romance options. Need I say more?
This Bed We Made: a trigger warning on this one as it tackles queerphobia so it's not all rainbows and sunshine and kickass queer characters but it's an interesting story with great mechanics.

I haven't played it yet but Flowers -Le volume sur printemps- is a game I have wishlisted because it looks like a lovely LGBTQ+ game and I think the art style is really gorgeous as well.

Sifting Thyme isn't publicly released yet, but I backed it during its Kickstarter phase :) It's LGBTQ+ friendly and even lets you pick they/them pronouns, which is a feature I still see left out of a lot of VNs & dating sims so it's a detail I always greatly appreciate.

Similarly with Hustle Cat, I think this was one of the first VNs I played that allowed for significant MC customization. You get to choose Avery's hair, skintone, pronouns, and maybe build? I don't remember the exact options since it's been awhile. It has a really cute little story, but I know it used to have some pretty bad crashing problems that I'm not sure ever got patched :(
