That seems like the only way to get a real answer.

Unfortunately, I don't think there is anything you can do. I doubt even reporting them to the BBB would do anything. Really, Steam has all of us by the balls, and their support is fucking atrocious.

In the SSA it states something to the effect that if you are not satisfied, your one and only recourse is to cancel your account. So, they are not providing you any avenue to further pursue this. Likely anything further you do is putting your account at risk, no matter what. Might need somebody on the inside, or a lawyer to help you.

Did you read that agreement? Or did you just click ''I Agree''?
I read it 4 times to find a rule applicable for this ban and didn't find any.
I contacted support to find out and they ignore that question.

I'm in no way supporting them, I'm with you. And what you and I are saying is a glaring problem with the agreement. They leave the terms so vague that they give themselves near infinite circumstances to ban or suspend. That's why other than the two far fetched possibilities I listed above, you are basically out of options.

they always use exception as their excuse for the fault.

I created a thread on Steam forum and it got deleted, lol.

That's really messed up, I personally have had nothing but good experiences with them, but I guess I got lucky. That blanket threat of banning is the worst...whatever you do though, take screenshots of all of the trading that was involved. That way there's proof that you got the scammed items from someone else.

The other ticket I created went well, it's just this one that is messed up. This ticket was actually handled by 2 different people, since the 1st one understood I wouldn't be pleased with his BS answer.

I created a ticket to Steam Support one month ago and been asking them since which rule from the User Agreement I violated to deserve a 2 weeks trade ban.
For people who don't know the story, I got a 2 week ban for trading with someone who obtained items from an hijacked account. I lost the game I bought for the items, which mean I actually lost money in this matter without being involved in it. I don't think they realized how serious this issue is.
Since the past month, they have been avoiding the question and answered me a pile of bullshit each time.
Answer from Steam Support:
Hello,
A staff member has replied to your question:
Hello Mike,
You were reported as part of a trade scam. We reviewed the scam and applied a trade ban to your account.
As a one-time exception, I canceled the ban.
As stated previously multiple times, we do not discuss the specifics of the trade which was reported for any trade ban in any situation. This policy will not be modified in any way. This matter is not open for discussion.
Any future replies to this ticket will be closed without response. Any future tickets regarding this issue will be considered spam and may cause your support account to be temporarily blocked.
Thank you for contacting Steam Support.
Does anyone know who we can contact in that case? How the fuck can they call this support, if they threaten to ban you for creating tickets?
