Do you live in a place where you can easily see stars in a clear night sky?

Yes. Here power outages are something very often and common. When that happens, we can see the whole sky, sometimes full of stars. It's really amazing

Used to. As a kid did it a lot during nights.
Though in hindsight that might have been due to the frequent power cuts at that time...

There is a ranch I visited when I was a kid. There's a basketball court in the middle of the whole place, you could see the stars really good from there, even comets or satellites sometimes.
Guess I have to thank you for bringing back that memory.
Nice clickbait btw.

Vincer got It right. I thought I was a New Zealand personality that is breaking It atm.
If your're listening music while doing this you should play Secunda from Skyrim, It fits pretty damn good.

The sky will be hazy this season when the basin is covered with moisture and several rivers intersect.

The night sky is beautiful on cloudless days in midwinter when it is -20 degrees below zero or higher.
However, rather than waiting for such a day, it is better to travel from this rural area to a hot spring resort deep in the mountains, where the scenery is better throughout the four seasons.โ( ๏ฝข'ฮ')๐ญใโจโ

Sadly no, too much air pollution. A few years ago a friend and her boyfriend got far away from the major cities on a trip and took some astonishingly beautiful photos (especially for two amateur photographers) of the starry sky and I still remember it today.

same, love to look at stars. and always wanted to buy a telescope (fairly good place, here)
i'm not sure i'd stay for more than few (dozen of) minutes, tho... i think mine it's more a "philosophical look" than a "scientific" one.
thanks fo' gib, Maya, appreciated!

I can see the stars a bit, but I would have to drive a bit to get away from street lights. We tried seeing the northern lights when they had a movement across the states, but were unable to see it where we live. :(
