Since Crazy Machines is now bundled, I'm now back to slightly before I've reached my 2000 milestone. To celebrate this joyous occasion, I've decided to run another event giveaway for Tomb Raider (2013)! See as how the last giveaway turned out with half the entrants being people who refuse to follow rules, I'll run things slightly differently this time around.

To be eligible to enter:

You must create and photograph a meal or a personally prepared food item and post at least one photograph of it here on this thread. The creators of the entries I like will be invited to join a private group for Tomb Raider. You can ask family or friends for help in creating these food items but you must post your own photograph with your SteamGifts username clearly visible in the photo next to the food without editing it in.

Judgment Criteria (not in any order of importance):

Creativity
Effort
Humor
Photography skills
Presentation
Optional: Relevance to video gaming
Bonus points for posting your recipe!

The giveaway ended at 12:00 PM EST on May 12, 2013.

Congratulations to the winner!

Quatro fromaggi risotto with green peas. My camera at smartphone sucks plus i didn't have any fresh herbs to dress it, yet I can assure you it's ultra tasty :>

001 002

And here's recipe:

  • Chop 1 big onion and mince 2-3 cloves of garlic.
  • Boild 0.5-0.75 litre of vegetable stock. Add shitload of thyme to it and a little of basil.
  • On frying pan melt half stick of butter, add onion, wait for it to turn gold, add garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Add 1.5 glass of dry Arborio rice (very important, you cannot make risotto without Arborio rice ;p). Stir it until rice absorbs all the remaining butter.
  • Add vegetable stock until it covers rice, again stir until rice absorbs all the fluid. Rinse and repeat until rice is al-dente.
  • When rice is al dente, add green peas, a little bit of cayenne and a lot of red savory (at least that's what google translates for me - in poland we call it Czubryca Czerwona :>).
  • Add half glass of sour cream, stir until all becomes creamy.
  • Add 50g of mozarella, parmesan and gorgonzola and 100g of white cheddar. Stir it all until cheese melt.
  • You can top it with fresh thyme. Serve right away, as reheated risotto tastes much worse than fresh :>

the more stuff is more important, as it contains most important spice ingredient, czerwony cząber, which has very specific taste ;p

500 g sauerkraut, lightly squeezed
salt
6 balls juniper
2 bay leaves
