So I recently started trading away some of my extra steam keys and noticed some people have said "I have bought every single daily indie game bundle since #3" or something crazy like that. I've been watching the bundles they've had lately, and I find it hard to believe I would actually want one of the games they sell 99% of the time.

So if anyone here is crazy enough to actually play some of the games they sell, please let us know what game it was, or why you bought something from there.

Do you buy games on DIG for personal use?

View Results
Yes of course!
No I never buy anything from there.
I only buy games from there for giveaways or trades.

I have bought bundles from DIG in the past , like years ago. I do remember getting a greenlight bundle that had Unhack from them, and liking that game. That's as far as my memory goes, I don't think I've gotten any of their bundles in the last 5-ish years.

Would you say they used to, but no longer have things you want?

More like I can't be bothered to keep up with their deluge of bundles. In the last couple of years I've greatly reduced the number of bundles I buy so I won't go with their stuff unless they just happen to have a truly great selection (aka multiple games from my wishlist) for a competitive price and I don't see that happening anytime soon, specially nowadays that Steam often beats every other store when it comes to price thanks to my country's currency going down the drain.

I never even look on indiegala page. Did it once when people on discord were hyped for some survey and minigame for free steam game. Got that way two random keys, one was already activated on different account, other was some extreme trash with like 5% positive reviews. Into their store I looked once on some bundle and since that I have that site stored in mind as hentai resellers. Not a site I would use to buy games for me, neither giveaways as I am not familiar even with giving away such trash.

Maybe I just don't get your point but dailyindiegame and indiegala are two completely different stores or where's the connection?

I am sorry, my fault. I seriously thought it is same page 🤔 I definitely wouldn't shop on both

Same, I'm not sure I bought a single bundle there.

I've never found any of their bundles worth buying. However, until a year ago or so I have been buying quite a few games from them, usually from parceled out bundles recently sold on other sites, things like Artiflex Mundi HOGs for 25-30 cents each. It seems however, that they have stopped doing so, and I'm not buying from then any more. Also, buying games for GAs I would rather wait for some good value Mega Bundle from Fanatical, than be somewhat ashamed of quality of my GAs created with their games, though in the past I have been buying some games from them for the GAs - actually my last 5 GAs were the last keys left in storage at DIG, because earlier on the GAs for the DLC in question could not be entered on SG.
On the plus side I must admit, that dupe keys were very rare there (1-2%) and there was no problem with getting them refunded by the site's owner.

Edit: But then again, if you have missed it being a freebie, you can still buy the Bomber Crew from them for 60 cents... probably grabbed by them from Humble's GA, but at least for sure not bought with a stolen credit card. But deals like this are so rare there now, that I don't bother to check their site any more.

So they used to resell keys from other bundles? That sounds like it would be a pretty good deal.

Yes, they did (mostly from Humble store), and it was a good deal, especially, if you took your chances and waited long enough. Originally, they priced it at like 200% of combined bundle price, but titles that didn't sell too well were getting gradually discounted with time, so after some time the leftovers were at 30-50% of the combined price.
Here is a link to one of my old GAs (for PA group among others) made from a key bought from them for: Sentinels of the Multiverse, in which I even recommend the site ;).

maybe they bought it for +1?
iirc, there was an occassion when they sell a bundle with good games (blackmarket keys, if i might add), but i usually don't find them to be attractive. indiegala's bundle is even better than theirs, and i don't even bother buying them...

I bought a few bundles from them years ago. Recently, I noticed a surprisingly decent one, and decided to buy it, despite the annoying topping-up BS that they implemented whenever. I can now say that I will never be purchasing anything from them again though... after a bug with their website caused the bundle to be purchased twice, and support refused to give me a refund for the second bundle, even getting nasty about it via email. Even if that hadn't happened. the majority of their bundles are pure trash, and they like putting their own hentai/nudity garbage in the bundles. It's the lowest of all bundle sites, present and past, in my opinion.

Once. I bought #587 just a couple of days ago because I wanted Ghost in the pool. Besides it, the bundle contains KLAUS, which I played the demo version (and it was good as I recall) and excellent shapez.io which I played just recently and enjoyed it a lot. So I think it's a decent bundle after all

Haven't used the site for years. Back then you could get some decent games for a good price e.g. I bought Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet and some artifex mundi hog games for like 20 ct each.

The site sell mostly crap "games" and i count it as a, very dark, grey store.
They get the most keys from the shady ru stores or the same owners are behind them and sell the games for much more as to the ru people and the ones that can buy in that stores and from the rest are a part organized in a worse way.
So, clearly, no shop that i support with my money.

So far I have seen no compelling reason to even open that store, for any kind of use.
