That's how I did last year's Winter Sale was on my family's Pad.

You're leaving on the 17th? I think Steam sales always hit when you are on vacation, so it probably starts on the 17th.

I wouldn't expect summer sale this soon... didn't the last one start like July 11th? Two years ago it could be first week of July, if I recall correctly or 28th June at best.

Well, steam is already giving Mysterious Cards (probably steam summer cards) after badge craftings so the steam summer sale is near.

Do you have any trusted internet buddies? Pay one of them $20-50 and tell them what games you're hoping to get. If you organize your wishlist well it should be flawless. Then you'll have a pile of gifts to look forward to whenever you get back.

That is the best solution if you do not trust internet cafes (Wherever you go in Greece there are plenty of those). Price of internet cafes is between 1.5€ - 2€ / Hour
If you are interestred to obtain your own internet while in Greece, those are the top 3 services (sorry it is in Greek, but I believe the translation won't be difficult):
Cosmote
Vodafone
Wind
Edit: I just saw a post of yours below. There is also a possibility of free wifi internet, depending on your destination. Many islands use that as a plus to attract tourists. Many hotels and cafeterias do that too.

Do you really think I am stupid enough to fuck up my reputation on steam for 10€? 6 years, 700+games, 400+ trades lvl 50. These aren't your general throwaway accounts you know.
If I do end up scamming you, you can skullfuck me Like I said, which for 10€ I think is a pretty good deal.

With so many digital stores doing tons of sales, Steam sales are not the unique opportunity it used to be... chances are you can find the game sales you're waiting for anywhere else (check http://isthereanydeal.com/ or similar websites).

Thank you for the website, but, there'a a problem. I use RON in my country as money. If I want to get Euros for games, I need a PaySafe Card (online). If I want to put money on it, I have to get me 25 RON, to get 5 Euros, because fuck logic...

According to https://www.paysafecard.com/en-gb/lp-promotions/steam-summersales/
Steam Summer Sale starts on the 19th and ends on the 30th so you should be back before it ends.

I honestly have no idea since it is the first sale I actually pay attention to.
Cross fingers for The Forest and The Stomping Land

I'm usually broke and with nothing in my Steam Wallet, but I've been saving my pennies and so I actually have a little nest-egg in my wallet this time. Of course, I've come to realize that I already have entirely too many games, so it'll have to be something special for me to bother buying it. I'm thinking a great deal on Ys, Kerbal Space Program(to give away), or Sid Meier's Pirates (didn't BTA on the bundle).

Don't worry, our internet in Greece is (still) working. :P

you should probably cancel your trip, I mean what's more important than games on sale? :)
Usually the summer/winter sales are 2 weeks, so even if it starts the day you leave it will still be going on when you get back.
OR
I don't see why being in another country would make any difference but you can use a smartphone to buy games, just add some steam wallet funds to your wallet before you leave to make things easier.

I don't know where you've been getting your news from, but you should probably switch news outlets.

Hey, so, from 17th June to 25th June I am going to Greece. A little holiday. The problem is that I waited all the year for the steam summer sale, and I don't want to lose it.
So, my question is, when is this gonna start? I want to know exactly. I don't want to lose it! Help? =]
