This thread is giving me a huge case of nostalgia. I left my desktop in Lourdes when I was over there last year.

I lived there for 3 years and I didn't go to the beaches unless it was a private one. It was pretty damn dangerous over there for me. I have an american accent when I speak spanish. As a kid I used to go to El Cuco and this other beach I don't remember what it was called I think it was Espinas or something. I was in Usulutan visting my grandpa for the holidays though when I went to those beaches.

Sad to hear that... sadly it is dangerous here with all the gangs, it's best to always go in groups and to known places instead of just wandering around :(

El Cuco is hot as hell though! Hopefully someday you come back and go to the safer beaches (Costa del Sol, Barra de Santiago and El Tunco).
