If my math is correct then in my region I can get what I spent on the bundle by selling these games's cards! And even make some more!

Thanks, it already has a thread opened from a week ago (and another from three years ago)

https://www.steamgifts.com/discussion/20OV4/steam-nukgames-pack-90-049-4-games-with-cards

I think price is still the same (0,49€ -was 0,39€ in the thread from years go, though-).

Best is when Ubermosh bundle goes on sale for this exact sum.

Each ubermosh game drops 3 cards, x 5 games, you could get at most 15 cards.

Ubermosh = avg $ of 6 cards => 39c / 2 = 19.5c (price for 3 cards) - 6c(steam tax) = 13.5c.
Ubermosh Black => 5 cards => 40c = 8c a card x 3 drops = 24c - 6c = 18c.
Ubermosh Vol 3 => 5 cards => 42c = 8.4c a card x 3 drops = 25.2c - 6c = 19.2c
Ubermosh Vol 5 => 5 cards => 41c = 8.2c a card x 3 drops = 24.6c - 6c = 18.6c
Ubermosh Wraith => 5 cards => 38c = 7.6c a card x 3 drops = 22.8c - 6c = 16.8c

total gonna round down on all of these because I don't think steam looks at .5c and pays up, let me know if I'm wrong?

= 84c total, avg to drop the cards for all of these I'm gonna guess around 17 hours(2 hours min to start dropping cards, then 1 hour for each card drop)?

49c + 4c tax in my area for the purchase so 53c. 84c - 53c = 31c profit for 17 hours of farming. If you weren't using some bot farm with virtual machines, it would be $3.10 in 170 hours, $31 in 1700 hours, $310 in 17000h, $3100 in 170 000h, $31000 in $1.7mil hours, which is more than a human lifespan of 100 years. This doesn't include income tax.

Guess I wont retire early doing this. Don't mind me, I just had to know the math.

But it is perfect to remove market restriction on account with no purchase for more than 1 year. You would still need to spend money and the money you get from selling these cards won't go back to your bank account

Ah I see, but is $0.49 enough, I thought it was $5?

Not for new account. It is for account that already spent enough money to allow you access steam market, but haven't had Steam purchase that is between 7 days and a year old

wait a few days you willr ecover once card rtes pick up. AT present with all rushing in they wll drop. But daily sale ratio is healthy sio will swing. these packs are almost on sale this rate every month but you will find a wiindow to capitalize. I left at possible decent profit rabased on daily sale volume te listed cards and waited till they slowly sold out and I got my recovery + some profit.

I'm curious about the time o.o

2 hours to start getting drops and then 1 hour for each drop?
Is that something affecting new or specific accounts?

I've been getting cards on my account for over 10 years and not a single game took 2 hours for the first drop.
Heck I even got all 3 drops from one game in 22 minutes, 10 days ago, though most games take around 1-2 hours for all drops, few games take more hours.

What do you use to farm these games? I use archi cmd line. I checked but for a game with 5 cards, it took 3 hours and some. I already had the 2 hours cause it farmed in a batch. Sometimes they go a bit faster, some games have taken like 15 hours to farm like 6 cards.

idle master extended

and farming all games at once (usually have like 5-20 games to farm, not sure if there is a limit how many games can run at the same time)
after 15 mins it checks each game individually, same effect as "close+open" the game, and then continues them together for next 15 mins and so on

If we all farm them, the price per card is going to plummet as we all try to dump our inventory.

Thank God I bought all those bundles on time and and sold cards at profit last 2 years. The rush now after these threads will kill any profit as people farm like crazy and undercut now. My suggestion is wait some days weeks and dont rush selling till the mad rush is done. These games seem at same sale discount almost every month these days. wait a few days you willr ecover once card rtes pick up. AT present with all rushing in they wll drop. I don't know how DIG is considered on this site, but there are games with trading cards that are quite cheap, and in most cases you can get your money back.

Games for 0.30 or 0.40 cents.

In the "All Games" section, card games appear. If you enter your Steam ID, it skips the games you have on your account.

iirc, Dig has a history of selling keys without developer authorization and there's been cases of keys getting revoked after being purchased through them.

They also removed the option to add funds with paypal, now you can only use cards or cryptocurrency.

I've always felt that DIG is more of a trashy game for adding +1s on Steam. In my case, DIG support has always been good. When one of my keys was revoked, they gave me the game again, and when I've had duplicate keys, they've given me keys until I get a new one.

What I do find suspicious is that many of the Steam activations appear as Playtest.

I thought it was deja vu about the PayPal thing because you can currently add funds through PayPal, but I swear it doesn't have much.

As Kevin Smith would put it "DIG is DOG SHIT".

  • The games in the bundles are "meh"
  • They will switch games in a bundle if they run out of keys for a particular title in
  • They will do it silently and they won't even change the titles listed in the bundle banner
  • They might switch a game you were totally uninterested for ro that you already owned for a one that you might find more appealing. You'd have to buy again the whole bundle if you want that particular one. Buying on release day doesn't mean you'll get the best titles for you.
  • It really doesn't matter if you buy again the bundle, they might change the contents again many times before the sale ends.
  • Most games featured in bundles are limited (βš™οΈ - Not currently eligible to appear in certain showcases on your Steam Profile, and does not contribute to global Achievement or game collector counts) so no +1 or cards.
  • They do a lot of rebundles, in most bundles, games are repeats from past bundles, or they just add in one or two new games (or rarely bundled on DIG -whatever that means-). It's not that terrible for $0.15-$0.30 bundles but doing it on $1.50 and $3 bundles is a shitty move. Anyways, if you are a regular DIG user and you follow their bundles it's easy to "feel" what their business model is.

The site is awful too:

  • Design is terrible and buggy
  • Sorting doesn't work, and they don't care. Buy two bundles the same day, sort by "purchase date" and they will be mixed. Exosyphen is too cheap to save the complete timestamp of the purchase in the database, as it "takes more space".
  • Speaking of using space in the database, they will annihilate your account if you don't log in for a certain amount of time. Say bye bye to all your precious Steam keys. I don't remember if they will send you a notice via e-mail before doing so, but still a shitty move. The reason they gave is that your account is using space in their database and it's bad for them. I wonder what they do with the unrevealed keys from your deleted account (ummm).
  • You can't even change your password within your account, the only way to change it is to use the "Forgot password" option in the login screen. Lame.
  • This happens for me, I don't know if it happens to anyone else: when I reveal a key, it's not revealed in the correct row, the key is shown like two rows up. You have to reload the page to see it correctly displayed.

On the other hand:

  • It's a good and cheap way to get games and even if most of them are "limited" they might eventually change that and give +1 (and even cards).
  • Games might be trash, but as the proverb goes, "one man's trash is another man's treasure".I love video games and I've been loving them since I was a child. From today's perspective, all games from the 8-bit era should be considered "trash" but I grow up with them and for me they were impressive and many were technically incredible. I do enjoy trying these games just to see how they work or how they were made.
  • Sometimes you might even find jewels amongst all the trash, icaio knew it well and he liked to make lots of giveaways using games from DIG, and he reviewed them on the GA description. He did pointed out the ones that surprised him because they were not bad at all. He ws not wrong, sometimes he found real gems there.
  • Speaking of giveaways, it's an easy and cheap way to make them here on Steamgifts and give back to the community. No more "b-b-but I don't have money" excuses, DIG makes it affordable to do at least a few giveaways from time to time. Again, just check icaio's profile if you don't believe me. Or the current giveaways, for all that matters.
  • Ironically enough, keys from DIG might be more reliable than other bundle sites. They won't go out-of-stock (hi, Humble), which is easy because they just switch a game in a bundle when they ran out of keys, I don't feel they have that many problems with revoked keys (I would even say they do better than Indie Gala or Fanatical, thanks to them dealing with shitty developers who mass revoke keys from lots of their bundles -one dollar bundles, for example, are a well known troublemaker-) and they keys are usually there (and usually work!) when you reveal them. They're assigned to you at purchase time, and they stay there for you forever, you don't have to deal with "pools" or that "first come, first served"or "your key will be gone in three years" bullshit unlike other sites (hi again, Humble).
  • Exporting your full collection of Steam keys is really easy, reveal all, export to an excel file, you're done. All neatly organized. Go and compare it to other renowned and well-regarded bundle sites (hi, Humble, we meet again).

There's a reason why icaio loved DIG and Lilly hates it with all her heart. Despite its many (and there's MANY) flaws, some people might find it lives up to their expectations.
