How suspicious is it? I'm friends with most of the old time puzzle creators/solvers. It wouldn't have been surprising to see a number of them and I solve a puzzle within a couple of minutes.

Well, you need to explain what you mean by "connected to each other" and "linking together". What does that even mean? How do you know they're friends? Are you talking Steam friends or were these people actually seen in various online places together or doing various online activities together...?

First of all, it's your group and your puzzle, and just like with every kind of art, the only person you need to please is yourself, and all the rest is just extra. You dictate the rules, don't let them overcome that, it's not like it needs to be a democracy.
What I'd do in your situation is probably renewing the puzzle, making a new one, and if the same incident happens, then kick them. But whatever you do within the group is within your right to do so anyways.

Awhile back I made a puzzle giveaway, the puzzle giveaway ran for one or two weeks long and had 11 entries total. When the puzzle was near closing a user from steam gifts sent me 2 images where it showed that 4 users were connected to each-other. 2 of them solved the puzzle near the same time 1 week before the puzzle was over. The last two in this group "solved" the puzzle within 30 mins of it ending.
I normally would shrug this off but players had seen the images of them linking together and asked me to kick the users from the group.
I am now currently being harassed on my twitch about removing one of these users from the group. Do I just forget about what happened? There is no way of knowing that the puzzle was actually leaked or not, but out of probably 1000 people who tried, how did 4 out of 11 seem to get it and all be friends?
Any input would be nice. Just wondering what I should do in this situation.
