I got sum cash, and now I constantly have an urge to buy games. Problem is, there isn't really anything i want. I already own a lot of games.

Maybe I'm restricting myself too much? Or maybe I'm just addicted (like we all are!).

Well - you could always do some giveaways.... Looks like you have given only 2 games, but won 6... maybe it's time to do some good deeds, if you got the cash just burning a hole in your pocket...

I pre-ordered Grand Theft Auto V PC yesterday.
I'm thinking about Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!, but one can't just assume that it's going to be a perfect game. That's the dangerous thing about Pre-Orders.

Yet you still pre-ordered GTA V? ;)

It is a good game on Xbox 360 and PS3. The port should be good as it is also being developed for PS4 and Xbox One, which share similar architecture with PCs.

Nonetheless, and, to quote a great philosopher, "One can't just assume that it's going to be a perfect game.". :)

I Pre-Ordered GTA V, because we all already know that is great.
Logic man, logic.

But we don't know that, we hope that it will be great on PC. Furthermore, since you don't gain anything from pre-ordering it, why bother? You can buy it the day it's released, and it'll be the exact same as if you pre-ordered it now. And if you wait for it to actually be out, you can then make an actually informed decision on whether it's worth buying or not.

It's actually pretty cheap as a Pre-Order on g2play.com (the site i bought it)

34,99 euros!

That is the reason is Pre-Ordered, because the price is going to go up when the game is released.

Cancel your pre-order, remember the mess that GTAIV was? There's plenty of complete good games that you can buy right now rather than gamble away your cash.

Do a giveaway! Or buy Bad rats, you know, just for trying out that furiously shitty game. It feels like diarrhea running out of your man panties down your legs while wearing shorts in public. Yes, it's that bad.

Best way to avoid buying useless games is to be broke. As I can assume by your post, you aren't.
You can always try moving your money somewhere where it's not easy to access. That way, you'll be too lazy to buy the games.

If everything else fails, then buy the games, but as you don't necessarily need or want them, create giveaways for them, or give them to friends. Some people around you would probably enjoy anything, even if it's just a small, bundled game.

You should try Starcraft 2, or Torchlight 2

I suppose it's addiction. I don't have neither the money to buy them/the bundles and every time i gain something (10-20€ /month), I'm going to search "THE DEAL" on SteamTrades or other sites. I don't even know why the hell I've bought all these games! But I don't know if it's your case.

Just like "How I Met Your Mother", my friends have done an "Intervention" to convince myself to stop buying Steam Games. I've started using Steam on December 2013 and now I have ~500 games that probably I'll never play. :| So, now I'm limiting myself: I've really exaggerated. (However, never spent my savings, just the new gains.)

If you have some good friends on Steam you could always buy them something off their wishlist. They'd likely think of you the next time they have an extra or some game deals info.

It actually could be considered begging in any other case. But at the moment, OP asked advice and SilliBird's reply is relevant to the thread.
So, no, I don't believe it is begging in any way.

If you don't want to buy it... Just don't. Imagime that all the games on sale today will be even cheaper in year or so. Once you begin with this technique you will never ever buy anything and get new games only from promo actions and giveaways. Ta-dah.

I think I end up playing the Add to my Steam backlog game more than anything else. There's always more I want to add to it, even though I have plenty.
