Massive backlog is the main reason I started picking up games on the cheap. I started feeling bad paying full price for something I probably wouldn't play.
Then bundles came along and help inflate the backlog problem ><

Yes and no. I've always been frugal, and that hasn't changed, but due to bundles (and sales), I'm spending more now and buying more games than ever before, and have gone completely "legit". :)
On a per-game basis, though, I'm even critical now of sale prices, since I now have a massive backlog and have been burned by getting games, even at awesome sale prices, only to find them in a bundle two weeks later. :O

I never bought PC games until I knew about bundles xD you can consider that you are being spoiled but another thing to consider is how much you need to spend to make a PC that can run that cheaply bought games which is honestly way higher than consoles for some games. Honestly I like certain games on certain platforms, for shooters I like mainly XBox since it feels better for me and I don't have a steady hand so I always overturn either in console or PC. the PC has a great variety and if I don't know what to play I look at my Steam Collection, choose a game and there I go. also I normally don't own a lot of consoles so it also depends on which friend I will play with and on PC commonly its with random online people since I don't spend too much time making friends online since I consider that is very time consuming. Well returning to the topic, honestly I think the games are cheap but for the games you actually and up playing you buy a lot of games you don't play because of these offers so in the end it ends being somewhat the same.

It zig-zags. On one hand, between E-shop, Steam Sales, and bundles, I pretty much reserve physical copies for things that are unlikely to go down in price such as Nintendo main-franchises. If I really want something I will snap it up regardless of sales. I am more likely to get something at full price if it comes with something special like decent DLC or a physical gift.
Now ask this of people who download iProduct/Android game apps for $0.99.

As I have been starting to buy games through bundles, I noticed that how I view paying for games has changed. How much I am willing to pay now has a direct connection to what format the game comes in. This is how my mind now works with pricing.
You want $60 for a PlayStation game? Here you go.
This 3DS game cost $40? I'll take it.
You are selling a PC game? You'll take $2 and like it.
That is how much they have warped my perspective. Am I the only one thinking like this?
