$7.99 for something we won't even touch?, no thanks.

Poll needs a "I would have bought it at 90% but not at 80%" ;)
I'd have some use for it, but yeah, not 7.99 much of use.

people as devs should keep in mind that making an announcement of removing your game after date xyz and don't doing that is a refunding reason.
even if the 2 weeks or what it was is over. it wont go through the automated system but if you contact a support department where the tickets need to be revisited and arent made automated they will refund. in my case i contacted them through steam issues directly.

sure, false advertisement. i got even multiple copies of the same game way after the 2 weeks refunded.
Know other people who got of the same reason games refunded.
you only need to make clear that you bought it of the reason that the dev stated its gonna get removed, while he didnt so.

without announcement
Removed - January 26 2017
Back in store - February 18 2017
Maybe this dev and "True Lover's Knot" dev are friends? 😎
Good bye TLK
after "last week sale"
So with that we’ve decided to leave the game up for now!

As somebody who posted "90% or bust" above; it's definitely worth the price if you have a use for that program.
It's not worth that price for me specifically, because I don't have that much use for that program. At half that price I would buy it just in case I have use for it in the future. At 80% I was on the fence, since it's the last chance after all -- but I can write my own terrain generation if I need it at some point.
Sorry if I came off sounding entitled before, I probably worded that badly in an attempt to sound light-hearted. It's just the difference between an on-the-fence-because-I-don't-really-need it price and an I'll-buy-it-even-if-I-don't-need-it-just-in-case price ;)

Do you feel like this regarding all unwanted software or just this specific one? I have never been able to understand this "entitlement" epithet for people not willing to pay amount x for software y. It feels like arguing that people should be able to make a living creating things even if the demand for said things are very low or non-exsisting.
Did you buy this software yourself by the way?

Oh it's software. Nice for those who use software on steam then.

I bought it.
It's a toy, you really can't do anything serious with that software.
Even at 80% off I feel like it wasn't worth it.

Misread it as sarcasm. Deleted the comment. No shit to start :)

End-of-sale
8 August - David M.
Hi,
Firstly, I want to thank you all for your interest and support.
However, for multiple reasons that are beyond my control, I won't be able to keep selling this product.
The bad news:
-You won't be able to buy Raiseland anymore after this offer ends.
-Raiseland won't receive any more updates.
The good news:
-Everyone who bought or buys Raiseland will be able to use it, even if it is no longer for sale.
-Raiseland last update solved many of your feature requests and bug-fixes: the software will be left in a stable status, with 0 known or reported major bugs.
-Email support will continue as usual.
Thank you,
David
