Dragon Age vs Mass Effect

so... I played all of Mass Effect games minimum 4 times. And I'm a man who normaly plays a game one time... And I didn't finish any of Dragon Age games. I tried first Dragon Age and I really hate this battle system. Maybe later I try it again (but still I don't think I end it)

And about which ME is best... I think this hated by everyone ME3 was the best. Storyline was really good, ending too (but I only played with extended cut). Gameplay and character editor was better than in 1 and 2.
Today I think ME1 was worse than 2 or 3. I can't say something bad about story ( I liked more story in 2 and 3, but this was really good too). Squad members from ME1 was better than this in ME2 (only Mordin in ME2 was great). However optional missions and DLC's was bad. All optional planets was unnatural, Mako could fly and this buldings (copy/paste )... Still with this problems I like that game.
I think ME3 > ME2 > ME1

KOTOR, it is pretty much Dragon Age+Mass Effect and it has an outstanding story

I really despise that none of the Mass Effects have controller support on PC. Even though it's the same with Dragon Age (Origins), it feels natural and not clunky to me. bitter face

After the infamous 3 epic blunders in a row from EAware?Neither.

I prefer sci-fi over fantasy. Probably why ME is the better series for me. Have yet to get to play through Dragon Age properly though (20+GB is a bit much for my hard drive at the moment).
