Wildstar is now F2P!

I was looking forward to it, having originally played at launch. (stop playing after the initial month because I wasn't feeling the p2p.. don't get me wrong.. I enjoyed the game tho)

But the past 24 hours has been horrendous since the relaunch and I personally feel they shot themselves in the foot. Delays and problems are to be expected.. especially at initial launch.. but back then.. they ALREADY had people's money from those that bought the box sets, etc. A f2p relaunch hinges upon people being able to get in and play and there wasn't alot of that yesterday.

Contstant server restarts, 1000-2000 people queues, 1-2 hour waits. Coupled with alot of lag and most importantly.. new players weren't really even able to make new characters! (it would hang). NCsoft probably lost half of their potential customers right there. They need to get their act together and soon or they spent all that money on hyping relaunch for nothing. I had 3 people lined up eager to play and after yesterday, 2 of them gave up (and these are normally patient people). So including myself.. that'd be like a sampling rate of "1 out 2 people" going to play.. then they've cut their potential profits down alot by not taking this relaunch seriously enough from a tech perspective.

Game probably is slowly dying, if devs decided make it F2P.

Guess it's time to use the E3 2015 Digital Ticket for signature status.

Played it from the start, and got 2 years of subscription ! and now it's f2p ... !
Exactly like Defiance ... Pre-ordered it for 60$ ... and it sucked and became f2p ! and i havn't even played it yet ... ! don't know why i waste so much money on these crappy MMOs ! (・へ・)

Im very patient with games and especially mmo's(well back then) but i gave up since none of my friends would play anyway.
