Ya wanna hear something funny? I've only ever seen the OT once or twice each movie, and this was years ago. And yet I remember almost everything that happens in them. They're the type of movies that stick with you. Well acted, great atmosphere, well choreographed. The cinematography was excellent, and stage direction was pretty much spot-on. A soundtrack that enhanced every scene, knowing when to be subdued and let the scene carry itself, and when an epic orchestral number was needed. In my opinion, they were better in every way than any of the contemporary "best films ever" of the time.
