Where's the profit in keys? (TF2 etc)

what game it was? Some games cost less because of sale prices and region prices.

Usually people buy the games while they are on sale... So on a sale he may have bought it for less than that price. I love buying in keys because it's sort of like the best sale on the game, all the time.

I've wondered that as well - seems odd..

Perhaps the seller bought the game with a discount or from Russian/Other country store, with a smaller price.

It's currently on sale, but the sale price is a fair way off what I paid in keys and even to sell the keys at the highest I've seen them go wouldn't be anywhere near the price in the sale.

The game is only ~£8 in the Russian steam store due to regional pricing. So the guy you traded with made his profit, but so did you by trading ofcourse ;)

Fair point, makes sense I guess. I aint complaining, it saved me around 40% extra too, everyone wins. Cheers!
