Yes, unfortunately it happened to me. If someone fraudulently buys a game and gifts it to you, it will get revoked. If you trade with the person, you can get your items back by contacting Steam Support.

Yes, as it's been said. But tradable gifts are far less likely to be revoked since it means they were purchased over 30 days ago.

Hi, I know that there is certain risk in trading steam keys since the key can be revoked later for various reasons. Do same risks apply for steam gifts? Or, are steam gifts safe to trade for?
TL:DR, Can steam gifts be revoked after activation?
