LOL , wonder if those greenlight games will get cards

bundle isn't that bad, especially with all the trading cards attached to it, but I'd be a bit leary to buy it, not sure what type of luck we'd have getting steam keys

Same thoughts here.

It's also worth noting that many/all of the games on greenlight were on greenlight months ago during the BundleBlitz thing and then they deleted them. Don't think BundleBlitz buyers will have any luck if they eventually make it.

BundleBlitz is owned by Digital Homicide. It was changed to Digital Homicde homepage before they recently changed it back. I paid for that bundle and if no steam keys are provided thats false advertising from Digital Homicide since they own that site.

Just checked my email and at least one of the DRM-free download links no longer works.

They just told me to send them an email to get the itch.io keys for the games we bought on Bundle Blitz:

If you like you can email me at support@digitalhomicide.ninja with the email you used to purchase the bundle blitz bundle and I will cross check the purchase list and send you any corresponding itch.io keys.

Cool. Thanks for asking them directly. I would have hoped they'd interact with the thread more, at least with the people who had legitimate inquiries/concerns.

not sure what bundleblitz is? I guess that was an upstart bundle site that didn't get off the ground?

It was a short-lived bundle site with half-naked Shutterstock babes in football gear. They gave away Attrition Nuclear Domination and later Galactic Hitman, all the while selling a couple bundles for $1 (or $0.50 with coupon) with Digital Homicide Steam keys and DRM-free downloads of a bunch of Greenlight games.

Basically it was the same as this current offering except I don't think it was ever stated that they were, in fact, Digital Homicide. The old Greenlight pages were taken down (which had random developers iirc) and now everything is under Digital Homicide's name and they're using itch as a distribution platform, which is a big plus imo.

I gotcha, .99 cent for a bunch of games to add to my son's accounts isn't a bad deal, if the greenlight games never get added not a big deal only cost .99 cent..

Oh, you follow the "toss the child off a cliff into brambles surrounded by wild, starving dogs" style of parenting, gotcha.

DH games are all quick, sloppy mock-ups made with premade assets, created solely to farm trading card sales profits. DH itself has engaged in a lot of underhanded behavior to further this aim, including pretending it was another, legitimate company on Steam.

tl;dr version, don't buy into a scam :X

(Especially since DH games are free all the time since that furthers their trading card sales agenda, so there's no point actually spending money on them to begin with.)

yeah I know, drama can be fun sometimes..

well, in this case the drama is justified, if you ask me. those guys produce nothing but shovelware, they try to censor criitcs (and customers on the forums), and they published games under the name of another company. that's really some of the worst behavior in the industry, and i hope they're not around for too much longer.

All Steam games have keys, after purchase you can collect them anytime off of itch. Most games also offer a drm free download.

What about sending itch.io keys to the buyers of BundleBlitz since you guys had those same games there?

I have a better idea for the bundle name:
"Games we give for free because no one pays for them, and games so bad Gabe banned them from steam"

So....
Reviewing your games negatively: Copyright infringement.
Stealing the catchphrase of the only reason you're famous (yet that you continuously whine about): Hunky-dory.
The sooner Steam has fewer pseudo-developers like this, the better.

I take it that the "Thank god for Digital Homicide" is a riff at Jim Sterling's catchphrase "Thank god for me"?

That would be entertaining to see. I don't usually watch his videos (while I generally agree with him, I find the persona he puts on to be a bit annoying), seeing what he would have to say about it would be interesting.
