If this is a demo why don't you just make it publicly available?

Consider it as a closed beta, where a small portions of players are offered to play the game just so the devs have some feedback. If the game is not really at a playable state yet, a large/open beta/demo will backfire and leave bad impressions to many players.

True! We don't have unlimited keys, and we have plans for the gamers that play this alpha preview, like giving them a discount for the full game. The demo for the release version will be something completely different.

Can I also suggest you use Gleam or some other method for distributing future keys. I tried a couple from both batches but I'm not going to risk being locked out of my account for a chance at an early preview build
