Is it possible to change your account name?

Was just wondering if we are allowed to change account name because I kinda want to change my name lol.

can't do it manually, that's for sure...and i don't know if support will accede to that

i guess it doesn't hurt to ask them, though!

EDIT: Now that RedCoats mentions it, you aren't being specific - steamgifts account name, or steam account name?

Currently I don't believe you can do it without contacting SG support, but even then I don't know if they will do it or not. In version 2 of the site that is being beta tested right now, you'll be able to do it once a year.

When version 2 of the site will be out of beta I have no idea. Could be next week, could be sometime next year. There has been no date set for it. And anything done in V2 of the site will not effect anything in V1 because after the beta is over, all the data is being wiped and moved over from V1.
