Me too. I had to study all this in university before, but I never intended to still remember everything once I did the exams.

Half of this learn kids in high schools. Everybody should know that stuff...

Rest can be easily done with the hints.

Since a lot of people are struggling, I'll be posting the odd hint from time-to-time.
Q1 - No calculation is required here, just look at the diagram and read the question carefully. Perhaps read up on what ff(x) means. Or f(f(x)), perhaps.
But of course, I'm sure you had all already answered Q1. The rest will come soon.

I can barely solve the "easy" puzzles posted here. I've got no chance with something like that.

The syntax for the first question is not even correct. ff(-3) doesn't mean anything in maths (unless there's a function named ff). It's either f∘f(-3) or f(f(-3)).

I didn't write the questions, in that case the correct syntax is:
f(f(-3))

Yep that's it.
The answer is really easy and straightforward.

Hint for Q4:
Formula, where M is total mass.

Also, a general tip. I can almost guarantee that you won't be able to do some of these in your head. Grab a pen and paper. Do some diagrams for the Mechanics questions.

Q7: Is the answer exact or needs to be rounded? My answer rounded to integral kW was by 1 different from the "correct" answer. Isn't there an error in rounding?

Odd, the answer is exact. Mind, I realise I haven't specified what value of g to use so it could be that - 9.8ms^-2. Will update the first post, cheers.

Yeah, that was it. I used that nice'n'easy value: 10 ms^-2 :)
