If you finished completing the poll, i would like to ask one last thing, i wouldnt need the dlcs, i could play just the base game, so maybe in steamtrades i can get them cheaper?

Comments are 100% appreciated!

Should get them both for a total of 40€?

Nice price for both get it!!!
Only Deus Ex Collection is worth for that price
Only METAL GEAR SOLID V: The Definitive Experience is worth for that price
Do not get any of them in steam, you will find them cheaper outside

Deus Ex for gameplay/story.

  • Human Revolution: Good Story, Good Gameplay.
  • Mankind Divided: Terrible Story, Decent Gameplay.
  • The Fall & Invisible War are bad in general.
  • The original Deus Ex I have never played, but people claim its really good.

MGS for quiet. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The original was better than DEHR, but it's also older (not as shiny).

The fall was not bad for a mobile game. But they never finished the story so it is not great either.
The first one is the best IMO.

Invisible War is wayyy better than it gets credit for. There's a great community patch for it.

Sorry dude I don't wanna steal your thread but is Deus Ex Mankind Devided good? I haven't played any game from the series so have no idea about the last one. And steam reviews aren't helping me decide.
And I really suggest you buy MGSV, such a great game!

If you are yet to play any Deus Ex, then go for Human Revolution ( its also prequel to Mankind Divided).

human revolution is included in the bundle.

It spoils Human Revolution badly so starting with MD isn't advised. It's a nice game tho, even if it hardly shines in the character/story department, but for ~15€ it at least delivers as an OK stealth experience.

Human Revolution is great, but I found the beginning a little difficult. The DLC campaign is good too. I can't speak for the other games...

Same. But they changed the difficulty spikes with the directors cut, did´nt they?
It also did´nt help when my PC was´nt really capable running it at +30 fps back in the day. Other than that it´s a fantastic game, can only recommend it to anyone! All around a very atmospheric and believable portrait of a possible future.

MGS is great too, but Phantom Pain kinda bored me with "too much running around" .... a problem that Ground Zeroes did´nt have.
The openeing scene from Ground Zeroes alone makes it must buy!

I can"t speak for the DC version of Human Revolution, I only played the original. I didn't liked the graphic changes they made with the DC.

I totally agree with you about the opening for Ground Zeroes. I was astonished. The rest of the game is not in the same vein, however :/ Don't get me wrong, it's a nice game, but completely different with the beginning.

I bought MGS V quite a long time ago and I had to play some of the previous games to have a background in order to enjoy the story of the game. I think, if you've already played MGS:V that you might know what are you diving into and you might also know that the gameplay is really satisfying. I don't recommend buying it for the story, only if you already know what's going on.

As for the Deus Ex all I can say is that it has all, the story, which is relatively complicated, but it can be enjoyed even if you don't have an extent background about it, the gameplay it's superb with a lot of paths to take on if you decide to go stealth or all-in for carnage. The playtime you get from these games it's not as huge as MGS, but the side-quests are really fun compared to MGS.

Overall, Deus Ex it's a better choice, but if you have the budget and love a great-looking game which has incredible mechanics, a relatively easy game from stealth point-of-view, with an incredible story which becomes a let-down towards the end, the MGS did it for me, and will do it for you.

Deus Ex 1 is a true masterpiece and did some pioneer work when it comes to combine RPG and FPS elements. Even after all these years you can find people developing new high quality mods for the game.

The second game was a bit of a letdown for the fan base, with less memorable locations and story.

Deus Ex HR brought some realistic graphics and non-combat areas to the series and after updating the boss fights it is still your #1 choice when it comes to rpg shooters with multiple ways to solve your missions.

Deus Ex The Fall is nothing more than a crappy mobile port.

Deus Ex MD is similar to HR, but it doesn't really add anything special. In fact with poor optimization, only one boss fight, mediocre storry and the attempts to make more money by integrating booster dlcs and rewards from payed mobile games, I would recommend a person who enjoyed the HR to replay it using a different playstyle before getting their hands on the most recent Deus Ex game.

de:md season pass is extra cheap in that bundle (there's only 2 dlc in it that are worth getting though but they are more expensive if you buy each one from the store).

Yeah; if you own everything but the season pass I think it's something like six dollars, which is decent for the DLC.

MGSV carries the slight disadvantage that Kojima lost himself in his own overconvoluted plotline about a decade or so ago, so you can only enjoy it as it is. Granted, it is a pretty damn big game. With all the modern shiny buzzwords like open-world, responsive, and so on attached. And the pretty much naked chick, because this semi-realistic world needed someone who can only breath through her skin yet decides to get deployed in a dust desert.

The DX pack gives you the advantage of seeing the entire story. And while it is also conspiracy-heavy, it never tries to come up with its own unnecessarily overcomplicated conspiracy but just uses a bunch of known ones (Illuminati, Area 51, the usual). So, something like a watered-down X-Files rehash.
Also, the first game is often (justly) chosen as the best PC game of all time. Granted, the Unreal Engine 1 today feels a bit dated and the combat AI is quite pathetic, but then again, it is a stealth game at its heart.

In the end, both have the same possibility to engage you for the same amount of hours (in the triple digits), so just go with whichever seems better at that moment. Your first instinct will be correct.

Deus Ex is good. The MGS bundle seems to have a lot of online cosmetics tacked on that up the price past the cost of just buying The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes individually. I'd go with the DE bundle and MGS:V individually purchased.

Here's a thought - buy the first Deus Ex separately and try it out before the sale ends. You'll lose about 42 cents over the bundle price if you end up liking it. And if you hate it, the other games probably won't appeal to you and you're only out $1.39 instead of the full price of the package.

Did you play the previous Metal Gear games? If not, just get Deus Ex.

Metal Gear is one of the best video game series, you'd be doing a disservice if you just went straight to The Phantom Pain.

Deus Ex: The Conspiracy or GOTY as it's called these days. It's pants down one of the no... THE best game to ever be made. It may be a bit clunky by today standards (an extra click here and there required.) I am sorry but there is no snake solid enough to even come close to touching JC Denton and as such only one option. Just keep in mind the game is 17 years old, the polygon count isn't very high. But that has not stopped me from playing the game several times through. But for what it lacks in graphics, it makes up in for story, gameplay and music! With that said I am obviously vouching for Deus ex: The Conspiracy.
