Can't go wrong with any of the Arkham games in my opinion. I want to get Evolve but all I ever hear is how dead the community is and that it's a game that needs other people to be fun. I'm pretty sure this is the new lowest price though, so I'm thinking about it.

I don't know, I haven't played arkhan knight yet, but from all the bugs I heard about on launch it MAY have gone wrong...

It was broken at release. It's not broken now. Even though it had one of the worst launches in recent history, it's still an incredible game. It's probably my favorite, though it's been a few years since I played City.

Some people were still having issues, last I heard, but the team does seem dedicated to continuing updates until all major issues are reliably fixed.
That being said, the optimization is still supposed to be underwhelming, so if you've an older computer, probably not going to work out too ideally.
It looks so enticingly pretty, though.. :)

That's a fair point. I was one of the lucky few who could run the game well (enough) at launch, so when the update came with 60FPS support it was almost perfect. But you definitely want to make sure you have the hardware to run the game

I mean, I'm yet to drive a bat mobile outside of Rocket League that doesn't freeze every 5 secs. The games has been optimized, yet the bat mobile is still at its normal speed.

Really? The Batmobile drove like a dream for me after the first major update. It certainly took some getting used to/ learning, but it was good. I lucked out, I suppose

Payday 2 is nice but the players seem to be mad now because of the updates adding in-game currency and op dlcs

Would I be good if I just purchase the normal $5 version? I just want to use it as a simple heist game to waste time.

for 5$ it's okay to play and waste some time or play with friends

If you just play it casually it's a really fun game.

It's free to play until the end of the month, just try it. You're missing out on a lot of the content for not owning the 40 or so DLC they released though

There's basically no content without DLCs, and it plays more like a safe-cracker simulator than a proper heist game.
Skills are pretty meaningless, level designs are bland, spawn mechanics and AI are unfortunate and sloppy, gunplay is extremely subpar, game is imbalanced and buggy...

I found it to be a terrible game, well before the devs started favoring money-grubbing DLC tactics over fixing the bugs and imbalances and poor design of their game :X

My opinion seems to be a minority one, however :P

Well, you can always get the base game, play for just under 2 hours, and then refund,
That ought give you a decent idea of how the game plays;
Just keep in mind it does not get better, so what you see is what you get.

So if you end up enjoying it, then by all means.
I'd still go for a more complete package, however, because, again, the devs expect you to pay for continued content the same way World of Warcraft expects you to pay a subscription fee-
The base game purchase just gets you in the door, don't expect it to amount to much in the long run.

Ignore Payday 2, thank me later.

Unless you buy all the gage weapon packs, it will be really hard to start off, and if you are looking for a casual heist game you should maybe just get Payday: The Heist.

You can have just the base game and enjoy the dlc all you need to play the dlc is have the host own it.

You just will not earn chevos but other then that you can enjoy it just the same and also gain levels at the same time.

That i will credit the with allowing the host to let those who do not own the dlc still play with them makes it a lot easier to find players since not all have to own it.

Also it suppose to be free for like a week or something so try it before you buy it to see if you will like it

Each update also makes performance worse, not to mention the insane weapon (in)balance, with pistols out damaging shotguns and assault rifles.

I would wait for a better sale Batman titles was 1,5 on nuuvem something near 6 brazillian real.

That is like saying wait for gas prices to fall they just dropped on Mars

Never rely on Nuvuvem for deals as region locks and so forth can change at any time.If you want the game now and are happy with the sale price get it now.You can wait for a better deal but it may or may not come. You also can not always be 100% sure it is not region locked found that out with After Dark DLC it did not say it was,nor did any place i check indicate it was.

Also check GMG it is having a Spring Sale some of those games may be even cheaper then Steam.

Some of my opinions on the games on sales:

What I can say is just stay away from Evolve, the community from what I have is dead - It looks repetitive asf, just don't waste money on that.

Batman Arkham series on PC is ok but can have some problems, stick away from Arkham Knight as it can run like crap at times and Origins is in my opinion the weakest in the series, I'd say go for Arkham City as it is superb. Injustice Gods Among Us is also a crappy port from what I have heard, coincidentally from the same people porting Arkham Knight :/. LEGO Batman games aren't too bad tbh, and I'd say give a go, but if the controls of Marvel Superheroes have told me anything, a controller is recommended as I don't know if there is actual mouse support.

Resident Evil games are mostly a mixed bag, some are ok, but others are terrible. A lot are apparently recommended with a controller so that is a warning. Stick away from RE5/6 as they are terrible unless you have anyone else to play with. RE4 is great but can be annoying at some points. Revelations 1 is very good but really depends on your type of game. Revelations 2 is ok, but it is extremely cheap for Episode 1 so I'd say give it a go. Operation Raccoon City in my opinion is one of the worst games I have played so i'll leave that there :P. And of course Resident Evil 1 HD is a must buy, it looks great, brings back the game which is considered the best by a lot.

Serious Sam series is on 90% sale a lot so you aren't missing much.

Payday 2 is ok but only online in my opinion as the bots are a pain in the game.

Scribblenauts is great fun and can lead to some hilarious moments, so I'd keep that as a possibility.

When it comes to other games I can't really say much, as you said you are looking at games that are pretty cheap, but just in case I will point my opinion on both Fallout 4 and GTAV which are on sale:
Fallout 4 - I wouldn't buy it just yet, wait for more mods, and possibly the inevitable complete edition. It is also very lacking on content compared to previous Bethesda games, most likely due to the building mechanic which is great, so if you are into that stuff then this might be a good choice.
GTAV - If you have it on anything else like an Xbox 360/One PS3/4 then wait for the price to lower which it probably will start doing very soon. For the asking price if you already bought it previously it is very much so a ripoff in my opinion, adds little content.
If you have bought it then I'd say go for it, the campaign is superb, GTA Online (Which isn't much my thing) is great fun with friends and looks superb on PC if you can run it.

But that's a few of my opinions, just give some thought into it as Weekend Sales can be crazy at times and seeing what there is here in the midweek sales, there might be some better sales for something you might want a lot, but refunds are there just in case :).

GTA V on the PC adds little content over last 360/PS3,look i am not super GTA V fan boy but that is clearly not the case, you get a lot more.

I would start out on360/PS3 if you have one and can get a cheap copy and want some of the unlocks you can not get on PC due to changing random events and what not or would be easier to get.You get access to more guns, more cars, more garages, low riders, more clothes, more random events and so on.

Now if you have it on the PS4/Xbox one then i would say no unless you must have it on the PC.I just wanted to be clear since they blended in old gen with current gen as if they both offer the same.

+1

The unlocks on PC or other next gen for playing previous gen are pretty cool.

Arkham City is open-world, suffering the usual weaker level designs and generic enemy spam that comes with that sort of thing. It offers more freedom, gameplay, and features than Asylum, however.

If you're more into a focused narrative and progression, go for Asylum- I'm always a fan of playing games in order anyway., If you like Asylum and open world mechanics, then you should love City.

As far as your more general question, you ought edit your post to include genres you're interested in, may give you better feedback. :)

Im actually pretty open I play practically all genres(Maybe just not anime..). So I have SOME money to spend and I been quite bored so im just looking for an actual good game to keep me entertained for a while.

Anime isn't actually a genre , people not familiar with anime-themed games don't realize that :(
Anime-art-styled games typically fall into these genres: JRPG, Action-JRPG, Platformer, Fighting Game, Brawler, Visual Novel, and Shmup.
Unless you're saying you dislike most/all Japanese art-styles or all of those genres, in which case your statement is accurate. :P

Well, do you want something with narrative or reflex-based? Sandbox elements? High non-sandbox replayability? Roguelike/lite? Fighting, brawling, action, adventure, exploration? Team or solo? Fast paced or slow paced? 3D or 2D? Cracked on the big end or the little end? =O

Again. I like all but I generally like shooters and adventure games. Fighting/action yes. Andn it depends for fast paced slow paced.

Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex First Assault (yup that's the one game just there) is really damn good, and really cheap as well. It is based of an anime, but don't let that put you off. Currently you can only play online, but the devs are adding new content all the time.

I'm going though Arkham City again right now to get a 100% on Steam as well (had one on GfWL). The story mode is great, but if you are a completionist, this game is pure torture… Not only getting all Riddler trophies takes forever, but the additional challenge maps take three times forever.

By the way, why is the Resident Evil Deluxe Origins Bundle almost a buck more expensive than buying these 2 games separately? It doesn't make sense - if this isn't some kind of mistake/error - at all.
