Why do you enter a giveaway ?

2 and 3.

Usually 2, but when I spend all my points on games I want and have some left I'll just enter giveaways that look slightly interesting that Iv'e never heard of. So a 2 but also a bit of 1 if that makes sense.

mostly 2. there are a few games older stuff that I want more than i want to plpay

I try to research every game I enter to avoid winning something I won't like that someone else could have enjoyed.

2! Right now I'm having trouble saving money so why not try to get them from a giveaway?
Anyway, I'd buy the games I want in steam if they are featured in crazy sales, or in times when my economy is better, hehe.

Right now it's 1 since I don't have a good enough PC to run hardly anything yet, but when I do get my new PC it'll be 2 :-).

I just enter to giveaways from games that i really want (and there aren't too much people inside) i never get to use all my points actually

I enter to pickup girls

I only enter for games that I'm really interested in. I use + to filter out anything else (which is quite a bit).

Deffo 1, but then again I don't enter giveaways on random so 2 also!

Selective. I really want some games that I like for example Skyrim (too bad no one does skyrim giveaway anymore)

why i'm here?

1 on private and group giveaways (since the chances of winning them are higher) or if I have my points capped.

2 for obvious reasons

3 only if the puzzle is easy to solve w/o too much researching. Then it turns into a 1 again.

Selective for me. Definitely not greedy because a) I want to keep my collection a collection, not a hoard hoarded for hoarding's sake and b) even if in practice the impact is tiny, I would feel bad entering for games I don't really care about and decreasing the odds for those who do want to play it

I almost never use all my points.

I don't enter giveaways. When I did it was a combination of 1 and 2. I.e., I entered for games I thought I might enjoy, but knowing that I probably won't get to it any time soon.

Selective, I only enter giveaways of games i really want
