Dead Rising 2 or Off The Record?

Depends i guess on what you want out of Off The Record has a true sandbox mode that can be fun with other people,but it also has a story but not related to 2,but more like follows Frank from the first one after the events of said game more like he is just here to kill as many zombies as he can.Though the story i have not played but i can only assume it pretty much like Dead Rising 2 as far as how the story is told.

Dead Rising 2 offers a better story but not the true sandbox mode.

I say it depends on how your going to play the game if you want it more for playing with a friend then Off the record might be the better option,but if you want to play the story with a friend 2 will be the better choice
