is it okay to give gifts that i got for FREE?

When a game is received from a giveaway from indiegala,etc.. they are only meant to be given to someone you know through pm or personal use.Not to be given on giveaway sites.But some people want to try to get free cv from it.

if EVERYONE can get it for free it's not okay BUT if you got it free from a friend or from tremorgames (or similar) it's ok
just be sure that it's a legit gift/key and it's steam
