A few weeks ago I started school again after quite a long break of doing nothing. I knew it would be hard work where procrastinating wouldn't be an option. I thought I was prepared, turns out I underestimated just how much hard work it actually requires.

I just completed my second week full of lectures, daily assignments, weekly assignments, daily drawings, watching tutorials... and then they recommend working on personal projects during the weekends. Deadlines are tight, most of my days are spent at school, when I actually get home I barely have any time to do anything before I need to sleep.

The point is that I haven't been able to be around much, especially on the forums. I should be able to spend some more time around here soon, but until then I have a little something I've been saving for my favourite forum lurkers.

I hope it goes well for you!

Recently had a friend quit nursing school because no time to relax. She looked like a different person. So don't over do it.
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. :(

Thank you! I'll try my best. I used to work in a kindergarten and whenever I came home I was just so exhausted I didn't want to to anything but sleep. Not really a good way to spend your days :/

If you think it's hard, now, wait until you're done with school. The good news is that you should have the necessary skills and confidence to overcome all of the obstacles you'll face.

And like Sinovera said, don't forget to schedule time off.

I wish I could be an art student right now. I'd love to be able to draw, then later use that skill to make games

However, I've never drawn anything in my entire life and I absolutely don't know where to even start. Even the Art Academy Wii U lessons are too hard for me .... That tree did not come out right at all, yikes

Ah, keep practicing! Try looking up books or, my personal favourite, watch art streams. So inspiring and motivational + you indirectly pick up on little things they do that will help you become a better artist.
