Just see what the people want for the gifts. You have steamtrades, tf2outpost and Trader Guild on Steam for example. Get prices from a few more persons and then trade with the best one.

^^^^ it's common sense to check how much other people ask for a game before doing a trade

Please don't add me over this.

The value of any given game is going to change a lot with time. Sales in certain regions, price drops, lack of sales for a long time, a surge in demand, bundles and so on will drastically impact the value of any given game. The only way to know the value of any given game is to check before you trade, as no-one in their right mind will keep up with games that they either don't want to trade for, or trade away (and my trading days are over, so I don't keep up with the going rates of even the games that I want).

Step 1. Convert keys to currency via steam market
Step 2. Buy desired game from steam.
Step 3. ?????
Step 4. Profit (well you're not actually earning anything...)

If you sell things on the steam market, you'll have a 15% reduction fee so keep that in mind.
