As a general rule this is my order of preference as well, with Humble Bundle being ahead of everything of course.
I've purchased many of the Humble Bundles going all the way back to the first one, like 4-5 Groupees, 2 from Indie Royale, and 0 from Indie Gala. I don't really care for Indie Gala as they tend to offer these 'dime-a-dozen' or 'cheapie' strategy games, of which there are a million of (I'm looking at you Paradox) and don't usually interest me personally.

I'd say the same. Holds true for manyt bundles, with IR and groupees very near each other.

i think you should count the sales when the bundle ends.
Actually Indieroyale is ended with 14.000 bundles and Indiegala has the same number sold.
Groupees has 3500 more sales but let's see the numbers when they end.

I like Indie Royale. But out of these three, they tend to be the most expensive. Also, only about 3 of each bundle are Steam-redeemable with the rest only on Desura, which helps make it feel more expensive. This current one is well worth it just for Serious Sam 3 though.
Indie Gala bundles for the most part always have great games in them (save this current one). But they have pretty shady business practices. Plus their website is pretty bad. The current one is an improvement.
As for Groupees, I've only seen their current bundle. I don't have enough of an opinion for them. But if all of their bundles are like the current one, then I prefer them hands down.

Shady business practices? Care to elaborate with this?

They've already addressed this "issue" in the past. There is a "minimum" that the average price cannot fall below.

A real average would increase and decrease, however. If you have 5 people buy the bundle for $5, then the average is $5, but then some rich guy comes along and buys one for $1000, yeah, the average jumps. And then if a bunch of people buy for $1, it goes down.
Some wording improvements would likely be a good idea. It is far more likely they mean median, not average. Or like someone below said "base price" would be better.

I'd say that's only shady if they lie about it or something. They openly admit changing that price during happy hour promotions - and I don't really mind a $2 increase when they're offering 4 for the price of 1.
At most, I'd tell them to change "average price" to...I don't know, "base price"? I get the feeling they just copied the term "average price" from Humble Bundle like everyone else did without really considering that they weren't actually working off an average.

In the last one, every time they did happy hour the prices of individual bundles suddenly increased by around $2. Also, every time I'm in their website, something just feels off for me. I can't quite explain it. Maybe it really is just the site design, but I don't know.

I've bought 13 Humble Bundle, 7 Indie Gala, 6 Groupees, and 4 Indie Royale.
However, if we're talking about just the three current bundles, Groupees is by far the best deal, then Indie Royale. The current Indie Gala is one of the worst bundles ever.

1 from groupees but it was great
3 or 4 from indiegala
6 from humble
0 from royale
Humble>groupees>Gala>royale

I have to say I like Royale.. but.. I always find its more expensive then the others and have less steam games.. begs the question why I like them.
Well.. make it simplier
I purchased
2x Indie Royale
1x Groupies
4x IndieGalas
However I own 99% of keys from all groupies/indiegalas and indie royales (through trades and gifts)

There's no exact order. The best is what is worth the money for the games you interested for. That's all. Right now I only bought Indie Royale for SS3 and Shad'O. The Groupees and Indie Gala is just sucks right now. Not a single game in those what is interests me.

Out of the current bundles, Groupees. It has a couple games I'm interested in, some others that look interesting, and some decent music.
I bought the Humble Introversion Bundle ages ago, so that takes a good chunk of Ingie Gala's offering off the table. The only thing I want from it is the Galactic Civilizations pack, but that isn't worth beating the average, I can just get it later. Maybe, if the other unlocks are something I really want, I'll pick it up.
Indie Royale is tempting; but, I'm not a Serious Sam fan which takes most of the allure away from that bundle. Also, I own one game from it and I'm only mildly interested in one other.

I bought a Groupees bundle only once and the other two never, the indie gala sometimes have a few decent games but the price for the complete bundle is higher than the other and i don't want to buy the entire bundle for that one game. The indie royal have sometimes few games that seems nice but not so much to make me want to buy the bundle at it's price. I can't really compare this bundles, the only division for me is Humble Bundle(less bundles but all good) and the other bundles(a lot of bundle of each one, especially indie gala and indie royal, but never so good to make you wanna buy it).

Indie Royale is the most expensive bundle and the one with the fewest Steam games, and I find they tend to only have one interest-gathering game in any bundle and the rest of the games in any given Royale bundle are relatively unheard of. There are a few bundles that broke this mold, but not many. Their pricing scheme makes them the most expensive and their higher-than-average pay bonuses suck - they're all just chiptune albums, whereas other bundles at least give you further games. I guess if you like chiptunes, go ahead.
Gala by far gives you the msot Steam keys per bundle and their prices are relatively the lowest - they usually go for about $6 for BTA and generally have a few over 10 Steam keys per bundle. Additionally, their Happy Hour promotions let you buy 4 for the price of 1 if you bought one early and beat the average - I love buying bundles for my friends when those come up. Gala has a few gems and several fillers in any given bundle, but that's going into subjective territory. They also tend to play a little loose with the definition of "indie", and frequently sell games from smaller publishers like Paradox. Finally, buying bundles gives you "gala points" which can be used for discounts in their store and they have a Steamgifts-ish giveaways site too that is generally loaded with games from their bundles. Gala is probably my favorite.
Groupees has the least frequent bundles and are of middlish quality, in my opinion - but I find their bundles also tend to be cluttered with lots of music and other things that I, frankly, don't really care about and don't want. I realize they spend money and effort and time to bring albums and stuff to their bundles - IIRC, Groupees started off selling music bundles and only ventured into video games after Royale, Gala, Humble etc. made it popular. I kind of wish they'd sell their music in music bundles and their games in game bundles - I feel like the effort they go through to bring us multiple albums in game bundles is wasted on people like me who generally just swipe the Steam keys and then never look at the downloads page again unless new games are added. However, the majority of their game bundles have had at least one game I was really interested in.

I know, what I mean is, I wish they would keep music in the music bundles and games in the game bundles. I feel like their game bundles would be better if half of the content in them weren't albums I'll never download or listen to.
Is there some cosmic rule that states they must have music in every single bundle in order to be a music bundle site?
Comment has been collapsed.
Well, if they don't, they'll have to deal with a swarm of idiots going "WTF y id ther no music arent u a music bundle siet???"
Also, the presence of music doesn't decrease the number of games in the bundle, it's just more stuff at no additional charge.
Just pretend the music is bonus content for the bundle's games, of the sort that nobody ever looks at. Like "Making Of" videos and high-res printable posters.

Groupees bundles do tend to have a lot of music, but the game-to-music ratio can actually be comparative to Indie Royale. The differences are that Indie Royale lists music in a text-only side bar while Groupees gives music the same coverage as a game, and Indie Royale charges a premium to get non-OST albums.
The current Indie Royale has 6 games, 4 game OSTs, and a wallpaper. There is also 1 non-OST album if you do an $8 payment. Not counting the premium album or the wallpaper, 40% of Indie Royale's deal is music.
The current Groupees has 11 games, 2 game OSTs, and 5 non-OST albums. 39% of Groupees deal is music (which will drop if 15,000 bundles are sold and AirBucaneers is added.) The opening deal itself was 9 games, 2 OSTs, and one non-OST album.

I'd like to know what you think about each site and the bundles they make.
Which one do you think is the most honest of them and what is your favorite? And why?
To give an idea, their bundle were sold around the same date and here are the sales so far:
Indie Royale: +11.800
Indie Gala: +6.800
Groupees: +10.200
