When I started I thought getting higher in level would improve my chances. It has, but I also like to give games away.
If I have keys sitting around for games I won't play (Humble Bundles, etc) but I bought the bundle for this or that game, why not give them away to someone who will hopefully play it?

Don't worry, at least if you are close enough for even that bug to push you this much ahead, then you are not far from the actual level 10 numbers. Then you can see the hidden high-level menus for free ice cream, SG Premium discounts, and stuff. ^__^

I just returned to SG and jumped almost 3 levels up, now I hope to pay more attention to this community and maybe reach lvl 9-10 in year or two :)

I've stopped caring about my level at 5 - started to get hard to pass a level, I'm still 5 by the way...

My goal is 10 because that's all I have left, though it'll be quite a journey to get there. I'm at 9.41 at this moment.
As far as "return on investment" (leveling up to access more giveaways) I think Level 5 is probably the sweet spot.

I never had any goal to reach level 10 and always thought it was out of my reach to even get to 5...now I'm not 8.
So don't really care much at this point, just enjoy given and receiving.
Can't enter the SGTools since I've won more than 350 and have more than 1,600 games on Steam :(

Due to what I affectionately refer to as "the Daedalic Bug" (where several Daedalic titles are reporting as being worth $100 related to a discount in the Armageddon Bundle I think), I am temporarily Level 10. Woo-hoo?
I'm guessing this will last until 10-April, when the 90% discount on the Daedalic Armageddon Bundle expires.
So to celebrate my temporary achievement of max-level (Steamgifts is an RPG, right?) I'm offering a giveaway that should expire when my Level 10 expires. Hmm.
