For me there are two games that i've played over and over again.

  • Call Of Juarez Gunslinger

I've played this game 4 times myself and two times at my cousins. This Game is the best Cowboy game that i found on pc.This game is full of action gameplay and it's story is awesome. The best Part is it's narration.Silas Greaves was so funny during the narration of the story that i never laughed so much in a game.Mexican Standoffs were awesome in this game.Voice acting was awesome too.I liked everything about this game.

  • Far Cry 3

I've played this game 3 times and i am looking forward to pay it one more time. This game is so good. It's beautiful wild Open world. It's totally awesome gameplay. It's insane villains. All characters were good.A very nice story. There are many more things that i likes about this game. This game is one the best games I've played.

There are many Games i liked but these two games had something that made me to play them again and again cranking up the difficulty.

Seems rather weird but, as a kid i played Kung Fu Panda on the Xbox maybe 20 times over and over again just to find small bugs to skip long boring courses and find the quickest ways to get from level to level.
Wait...

I was a 12 year old speedrunner and didn't even realized it holy

I've never been one for replaying games, but I'm currently on my 5th playthrough of Dark Souls 3. Also on my 5th for Castlevania SOTN. Oh ya, and I beat all of the Kingdom Hearts games a few times over. That's about it :P

I still have my CD's. I haven't been able to get either one of them to run on Windows 10, but NOLF2 runs pretty good on Linux using WINE.

Let me see: Dragon Age Origins (5 times), Mass Effect (3 times), Mass Effect 2 (3 times), Divine Divinity (3 times), Divinity II (3 times), Shinobido: Way of the Ninja (3 times), Metal Gear Solid 3 (3 times), Metal gear Solid 2 (2 times), TES: Oblivion (2 times), TES: Skyrim (2 times), Saints Row The Third (2 times), Fallout 3 (2 times), Fallout New Vegas (2 times), Final Fantasy VII (2 times), Final Fantasy VIII (2 times), Mafia II (2 times), Borderlands (2 times).

PD: That's all I remember and I'm not counting the Pokemon games or Dynasty Warriors 5 and Samurai Warriors 2 which I played a LOT on PS2. Looks at the games still unplayed on the library, cries in a corner

The early call of duty games. Ive played Call of Duty, United Offensive, Call of Duty 2 and Call l of Duty 4 Modern Warfare so many times I practically know them off by heart.

I very much loved far cry 2 as well. It's just so immersion.

Mass Effect and Kingdom Hearts, both as a franchise, play it from the first to the last almost on a loop.

Link to the Past. Can't count how many times I played through it in the past 25 years or so.

There are plenty others of course but that was my first thought.

Final Fantasy... 1 - 10? Most of them at any rate at least 2 or 3 times. TES: Morrowind, TES: Oblivion, Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Grand Theft Auto Vice City and San Andreas. A lot of others I can't remember since I haven't played a game over and over in quite a while, unless it had multiple endings, and I don't really count that. :P

Aha, this is easy to answer... Dark Souls (all three). There are more games I don't mind replay because they are good, but DS games are the ones I think I'll never stop playing :o

I am very happy you made this topic. This is my favorite gaming topic to discuss. D

I am an old skool gamer., so I expect to play all of my games multiple times. What good is a game if you can't replay it? Same thing with movies. I watch movies I've seen a lot more than I watch "new" stuff. A look at my Steam library does not accurately reflect my playing habits. A very large portion of my games are electronic copies of stuff I have on disc or on GOG, so those games may or may not have playtime logged.

The latest replays I have going are:

  • Borderlands (1 & 2)
  • Diablo II LOD (still playing after 17 years)
  • League of Legends
  • Left 4 Dead 2
  • Counter-Strike

And on the back burner I also have...

  • Planescape: Torment
  • Baldur's Gate series
  • Icewind Dale saga
  • Mass Efffect series
  • Dragon Age series
  • Neverwinter Nights series

With all of those on my plate, and only limited time to play, you can see why I have trouble getting through the newer games in my library.

Just focusing on PC games that have actual endings, campaigns, etc to beat:
Hmm...completed Baldur's Gate series, Icewind Dale series, and Planescape:Torment multiple times.
Completed Dragon Age Origins twice.
Beaten the various campaigns in the first Dawn of War series a couple times.
Completed all the included campaigns of Neverwinter Nights and numerous player-created modules, including the freemium mods Wyvern Crown of Cormyr and Pirates of the Sword Coast.
Probably beat Diablo 1 and 2 multiple times.
Definitely played Eye of the Beholder series at least once each game, and thanks to gog I've been playing them again..
Uhm....HOMM series, Might&Magic series, all the X-wing, TIE Fighter, and Jedi Knight games multiple times...it's hard to remember and I'm sure to forget many more thanks to years of abusing my system with booze and other vices:P

Have Mass Effect 2 but not 1. Should I get 1 and play that before 2 or does it not matter? And how would you say the quality of the game is compared to today's standards (as it has been almost a decade since it's release)?
ABZU I could barely finish once. Don't get me wrong it's a very beautiful game. Thing is it just got a bit boring over time as there really isn't any objective beyond swimming around and opening doors. Let me know why you love the game so much, other than that it's really pretty.
Diablo 3 I plan to play one day. Been saying that since before I started using Steam. Maybe I'll pick it up sometime soon.
