3 of my bundles got removed now after months of purchase - Origin, HIB9, HB with android 7

It cant be a cc fraud, simply cos "buy with cc" option wasnt even dere around the time of origin and HIB9, so WHY ?!!

F**k them >.< I still had unused keys!

Edit: I bought Origin and HIB9 myself (I have PROOF of PURCHASE)

You do know that selling separate keys makes them able to recall ALL keys bought. QQ more.

Umm, I similarly fail to see anything racist here. I think we're missing some knowledge about India / Indian legal proceedings / Indian culture, and thus can't understand the guys' intended meaning.

This guy is himself most likely a guy using stolen CC info. to sell bundles at half the BTA price, thus resulting in people buying off him getting their games revoked. Check the entire thread, and the links to Steamtrades threads provided.

STAB, please explain how you acquired Humble Bundles and were able to sell them for 2 keys at a profit legitimately. Oh, and, you may want to explain convincingly. I think we all would like to know.

not calling out but pretty sure he was caught selling HIB keys for those bundles.

Comment has been collapsed.

No, he was trying to sell entire HB BTA's for 2 Mann. Co. keys (when BTA price is never below the equivalent of at least 3 TF2 keys). Read the thread (especially Shad0WeN's post / comment chain) and the linked Steamtrades threads better.

don't matter much. . . OP's edited most posts but many comments on his page in ref to selling keys. I watch for users selling gifts. . and such. `I saw the key thing. . . that don't bother me as much as selling keys/games for cash. One way or another OP has broken many TOS . . .

So you've read all of the thread and still don't see this is about credit card fraud? And you see a few small broken TOS agreements as worse than that?

Man, you're myopic.

but only three bundles missing. . .not steam account nor the rest of Op's bundles. Both Valve and HB suspend accounts for CC fraud. . . though OP hasn't said anything in a day . . .

From what I have read in the past it is a hassle to get Valve to remove games from Steam accounts. That's not to say they won't do it, but previously when some games were exploited on Amazon I believe I remember their rep Tony stating that it was not worth the effort to go so far as to have them revoked from the Steam accounts for whatever reason.

Anyway, what we also have no picture of is how many people bought from this guy and had their bundle(s) removed from their Humble account and either haven't noticed yet (because it might still be in their Steam library) or haven't reported it in the Steamtrades rep system. Hell, some people might not be able to easily remember or track down who they got the bundle from -- one reason why a reply history of only 100 is not nearly enough. Another problem is with the way the system displays dates, i.e. saying "X months ago" or whatever instead of a specific date.

no if he is found to be using a stolen CC they fully suspended your account. As in you cannot log in. see here

As for removing games. . . it's pretty easy for them a click. . They wrongfully removed my Dead Island Key. . . it's more of a hassle to get a game reactivated.

People joke around lots about it. . . but Steam has a zero tolerance policy. Funny thing is The last few HB have had the direct to steam account link sooo stolen CC used with HB means any users with an account with HB can have their Steam account suspended. . Though you'd have to be be really dumb to directly connect a steam account to a stolen credit card. . OP could fit that MO. but it still doesn't make sense of only three bundles. . . though OP still MIA.

My reply at first here got lost because of the downtime. :(

In short,. there is o CC fraud for Steam, there is for Humble. Meaning, Steam won't ban you on behalf of financial issues between you and some other party which isn't Valve (in this case, Humble).

So from there on you are pretty much off in your assumption.

Oh shit, I almost traded with this guy today. I ended up accepting the invitation 15 minutes late, by then he already had the game he wanted from me... I guess I can call it good luck then.

EDIT: I was trading games for keys, not looking for humble bundles.

Fraud. But when stuff he is selling will disappear from your account (which prolly will happen) it could be considered scamming too I guess...

Instead of assuming why/why not, contact their support ninjas and discuss it. They do not simply close bundles randomly.

No, it's not like suing Steam or Snickers. It's like suing Valve or Mars.

Besides, he obviously was saying it as a joke, no one would care to sue over $10. He's just venting frustration.

OP was probably just trying to create credibility for selling Origin HB and HIB9 keys bought using stolen CC info. with this thread by saying this:

It cant be a cc fraud, simply cos buy with cc option wasnt even dere around the time of origin and HIB9, so WHY ?!!

Paypal has always been an option for payment on HB - and credit cards have always been an option on Paypal. So, you've always been able to buy HBs via (a stolen) credit card. Buyer beware, don't trust anyone selling HB BTA keys for cheaper than actual cost price, and be careful about anyone else, too!

Permalink

not only paypal, but cc is also an option for google wallet and amazon payment which HB has been using for years... so it's only logical that STAB is using stolen CC info to buy all the game from HB and laundring his money by using TF Keys...

From what I've gathered in this thread, HB is trying to protect itself from you from any more fraudulent purchases by ridding your humble bundles for you.
