What is your favourite adventure game? (with giveaway)

I'm replaying old adventure games from LucasArts, Sierra etc. Can you recommend any good oldies? It's nearly my pay day, so I can buy whatever I can.

I'm thinking of the longest journey. For some reason I never played it.

I'd also like to play Gabriel Knight 2; it was 6 CD's, so I couldn't buy it. I wish they remade it (just reencoding the videos, the videos look horrible).

Definitely Discworld II. But I liked most of the old handdrawn adventures.
