Darksiders was in Humble THQ bundle, we had two more humble bundles after that !

obviously it has something to do with this specific game rather than the form of the key since it looks like its back off the list again.
(ps why are we being huge text?)

the * is applied retroactively to any giveaway that started after it was bundled. so you can't sneak in the gap between the bundle's start and when sg gets around to asterisking it.
I guess they figured while they were marking it for this time they may as well get it for the other bundle it was in too.

actually it was....makes no difference at all that it was a single key. at the time all humble bundles were a SINGLE key and all of them were still marked :)
(personally i don't think any of them should have been marked either, but as they were and still are thq should have been. I'd be happy if all single key bundles got removed from the list since it'd make more sense, but if a rule/policy exists it has to be consistent or why bother)

You don't remember times when hundreds of retards were giving away these single keys as separate games? E.g. HIB 5 key as Amnesia, etc. Nobody reported them, because winner not only received the game, but also some more. Now it's much better.

I know, but thats why thq should also have been marked(and still should retroactively(to when the thq bundle began), unless they plan to unmark the old humble bundles too). if they aren't going to be consistent then why bother at all? its only worse not better to leave them off if they're higher value...instead of giving hib4 for 15 cv(at a cost of $1) you give thq for 60(also at the cost of $1) but the latter is apparently ok while the former had to be fixed?
(the op was complaining that when they saw this time they HAD to mark it because now they're separate keys the games that were in the thq unmarked got backdated to fix that too since they're marking it anyway so why not.(except its back off the list now for some reason))

Dude same happened to mine and the calculations aren't even correct. If you look at my profile it was like $53.99, if the $20 is supposed to be "gone" now it should drop down to $40, not $41.99 and I too gave away Darksiders before when it didn't count as a bundle gift. There was no asterisk when I gave it away and I got the full $20 contributor.

Bundles can only be 20% of your total value. The first $25 of bundle games you give away actually counts as non-bundle.
So if all you've given is bundles, you have $25 non-bundle value, plus 20% ($5) = $30 (assuming you've given more than $30 worth of bundle games)

Darksiders (Aug 1, 2012)
Games that the bundle list maintainer adds will get backdated to the day they got offered/exploited.

People saying it was before long in a bundle, it was not. It was in the THQ bundle but all the games were in one grouped up key so Darksiders was NOT in the bundle list, it didn't have an asterisk on it. So if you got a seperate Darksiders key from maybe Amazon, you could give it away(like I did) and get the full contributor value. As far as I know, if you gave away a game before it was marked as a bundle game, you would still receive the contributor value.

"People saying it was before long in a bundle, it was not. It was in the THQ bundle"
Fuck logic!
"so Darksiders was NOT in the bundle list"
People already answered to that. You should know that all games that were in earlier HIBs with single keys for most games, were also bundled, BECAUSE there were too many idiots giving away these keys as separate games to boost their contribution and nobody was reporting them.

I checked this morning and I do not recall Darksiders was not marked with an asterisk, despite it being listed on the bundle list.
If this is true and people are losing contribution, that would mean it was never actually added to the bundle list and support is backtracking.

Caerbannog's post of:
"Darksiders Giveaway (GameStop/GameInformer)
Darksiders (Aug 1, 2012)"
lead me to believe it was added. Regardless, it should have been along with the entire THQ Bundle except support decided to change their outlook on single keys.

I had given away a copy of Darksiders a couple of weeks ago when it was not part of a bundle and received the correct value for it but today I lost that value.
I am aware that it is now being sold through a bundle but why does that affect something I gave away weeks ago?
