Hello
A few hours ago i placed a giveaway, and the site picked a giveaway i added the winner but he didn't accept my friend request, he was 5 minutes ago online. How can i contact him ? I don't want to be blacklisted :s. Do i need to click on 'request a new winner'?

Thanks

He has seven days to activate the game. Unless he's broken one of the cardinal rules (multiple wins of the same game, or a prior unactivated win), there's no reason to request a reroll yet.

If you want to contact him, leave a message in one of his old giveaways or on his steam profile.

A good idea is for you to read FAQ and guidelines.

Please don't use online status to make assumptions, there are plenty of circumstances that can make someone appear to be online while they can't actually accept/activate keys. The winner has 7 days from the point you send out the game, as mentioned above. (Similarly, you actually have 7 days from the giveaway end to actually send the game, before they can claim 'Not Received' on it.)

You did mention in your GA description that you'd be sending by Steam, so you didn't make the common error of not clearly informing the winner of that. As such, they should know to check Steam, so your obligation is fulfilled as soon as you send in the friend request to them. Screenshot your friend invite, then wait the 7 days out to see if they respond. If they don't, then put in a reroll ticket with the screenshot to support.

You can close this thread by clicking 'open' in the top right, if you think we've answered your questions. If not, feel free to reply. :)

Funny enough, you did not read the FAQ and made this thread to reinforce the assumption will get you on blacklists.
