No I removed trashcan and all icons... just wallpaper, taskbar is set to auto hide as well

On W7 -> Right click desktop -> Personalize -> on the left Change desktop icons -> uncheck trashcan. :D

Yup I did that more than once on win 95.There was not enough space for Civ 1 so system32 was first thing to delete. :P

I did it at a my friend's house, his comp crashed...

Anyway it was funny because he had also Peggle on the desktop and while his computer was giving strange errors there was that relaxing into.

I used to do that all the time back at when I used to take part on computer classes so it would overload the main terminal and make all the stations shut off.
