What the title says. I trade daily and I don't want the 7 day ban. I have to reinstall windows because I'm having boot up problems and other issues.

Note: I do not have another pc to use.

yep. I believe that the only important thing are your ssfn(random-numbers) files within your steam folder.
just move it to another drive and you're probably fine.

is it really that important to avoid 7 days lock on your browser? because I have no clue how to bypass that on a browser. :)
edit: just want to note that I had reinstalled windows today. without any problems regarding 7 days trade lock on my steam client.

good idea. so save steam folder, browser folder, user folder, and use same pc name. seems excessive but i'm paranoid anyway lol. thanks.

You can also just move the Steam folder around to where you want it.
It´ll re-register itself upon 1st start.
