Indeed, indeed. Got the twin 8yr old niece/nephew fed their breakfast and planted in front of the Wii. Older niece and her dad had a bit of a scare getting her biopsy results back last night, so they dropped the twins off with me because I'm more fun than grandma :3
Now I just have to keep them from snooping for their gifts. :X

She had a mass the size of a plum removed from her heart and sent out for testing. Got the tests back last night, and said it's something called Cattleman's Disease She's only 19 and lost her mother (my sister) a few years ago, so I took the younger kids in case the news was really bad. It's still not great news, but much better than expected, and not something the wee ones should have to deal with. Thanks for the crossed toes, too :3

I'm sorry for your loss, I know how it feels to lose a mother.
It is kind you take the kids in, just in case. And indeed better then expected is always that little better then bad news.

Thanks for the well-wishing and very sorry to hear about your mother, Miss Tchii. No matter what the situation, it's always tough to lose someone you love.
My niece took the news a lot better than her dad did, that's for sure. She's one tough cookie, like my sister was. :3
I guess it's similar to lymphoma, so she might have some chemo or rad therapy in her future, but she'll get through it. Ironically, it wasn't the cancer, chemo, morphea, or diabetes that finally did my sister in. The doctors raised her dosage of morphine for the pain from her neuropathy. She couldn't wake up or roll over when she vomited in her sleep, and she asphyxiated. She was 31.

I'm glad the news went better then expected as it is not easy to bring it n'or to understand.
Thet is scary, that is not good :( aren't they supposed to check or keep a eye out that something like that wouldn't happen!

She wanted to pass at home with her family around her, so it didn't happen in a hospital, and really no one is to blame. She'd run away from home when she was 14, and I hadn't seen her since then until 9 months before she passed. Our last words to one another during a goodbye hug after a dinner were about how glad we were to see one another again, and that we loved one another.
So I lost a sister, but gained a great "brother" and a couple nieces and a nephew. I believe she was happy knowing that, and that's how I like to remember her. :3

Rough times but nice to read the love was there. That is a very beautiful thing. To forget the past and to just be there and love.
And indeed, always remember the person as you want too.
My mom tried to force me to take a last greeting of my brothers body, I refused. I don't want to remember him as he lays there. I want to remember him from times we went fishing, when he teached me to fry my first steak and all those things ^_^ Those are good memories and you should hold on to them.

Are you still running around with that cold or is it the other condition you mentioned before that's troubling you. I hope you're feeling better soon and that it stays like that for a while. Just read you're I need to sleep earlier comment. I'm having the same problem, I get up at 5.45am but usually go to sleep at 1.00am so I know it's not enough but I've been doing it for years and years that it's just how I live I suppose.
I'll be going to get some groceries and supplies in a bit before it's 4pm and all the old folks are at the stores... :)

I'm not sure, all I know is that it started after the first night of sleeping in that awful small and cold cottage for the wedding. Brrrr.
It was a bit better yesterday but today seems to be *claptrap voice* I'm leaking, I'm leaking - again. xD
I'm sure it'll clear up eventually or at least until the next cold grabs me lol.
