Hello everyone.

I am storing&keeping keys from humble etc, entering GA`s even if i have their keys.. If i win something that i have as a key, i open GA using the key of mine..

I wonder if it is against the rules as i did`nt encounter something relevant at FAQ..

Thank you.. Here is a small GA..

Is it ethical if it is not against the rules ?

If you have activated your wins it is ok.

Not the nicest thing to do, but I don't think it breaks the rules.

It's not unheard of. Not even completely unethical. And definitely not against the rules.

Well, now that You've mentioned it, that doesn't look nice, but do whatever You want.

Not against the rules, it may earn you a few blackslists around here tho, I advice you close this thread or something if you mind about that stuff...

Of course it is not against the rules as long as you activate the game you won. Although morally questionable it is still fine.
On the other hand, if you win a game and afterwards you buy the bundle to make a giveaway nobody would complain and the result is completly identical. At least in my opinion.

I am not activating my keys because of growing backlog. I have relatively small library, but it is getting messy and confusing to me. You may ask so why would i enter the GA`s. I am just using 300P..

Actually not as it sounded like. I only enter GAs that i will play. I am not even grabbing free games from gleam etc. Dont even care for cards. If a game has mixed review, i won`t enter. Trying to keep my library elegant.

But they do feel "wasted" if you don't use them. I have a lot of games in my account, a few dozens unactivated keys and still don't do what the OP is talking about. But when I see the magic 300P number up there, I certainly lower my standards in what GAs I chose to enter. The wishlist filter helps, but I do believe a higher points cap would incentivate people to only enter GAs they care about.

Backlog man. I have small library with 210+ games. But even this number is messy and confusing to me.

If you want to reduce your backlog how about not entering so many GAs, especially if you already have the games as keys? You don't have to spend all your points and others may actually want to play the games you won.

Actually not as it sounded like. I only enter GAs that i will play. I am not even grabbing free games from gleam etc. Dont even care for cards. If a game has mixed review, i wont enter. Trying to keep my library elegant. I will eventually play the games i won or tried to win. At humblebundle times, there are many GAs with humble games. Eventually i end up winning some since i am very selective to enter GA`s to increase my possibility of winning.

If you can't handle your backlog, stop increasing it by entering giveaways, especially ones that you already have.
Seems really selfish to me.
